  • November to March tend to be Yosemite's wettest and coldest months; however, the higher you climb up the iconic mountains, the sooner you will feel and see the chilly conditions, with snowfall peaking from September right up until April when the spring season begins. You'll see the waterfalls at their strongest during May while temperatures remain on the cooler side at higher elevations. Further down on the ground, summers are warm and dry, with temperatures stretching to a staggering 37°C occasionally. These temperatures can drop significantly at night, especially at higher elevations.
