Approximately 3 miles long, Clearwater beach is a must-see when visiting this beautiful city. With its white sands and clear blue waters on the Gulf Coast, Clearwater sits just 30 minutes northeast of St. Petersburg and is one of the most luxurious locations to visit in Florida. With a selection of beach activities, seafood restaurants, cafes and craft vendors, it has remained one of Florida’s hot spots for both locals and tourists.

Clearwater Beach is compared to some of the most luxurious beaches in the United States, including Miami Beach and even Hawaii. Choose from one of the many daily themed boat trips and explore the crystal clear water, hire a jet-ski, paddleboard or kayak and take in the spectacular views or visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This non-profit organisation rescues sick and injured marine animals and rehabilitates them so they can eventually be released back into their natural habitat.
Events & Festivals
Not only do you witness a beautiful end to the day, but there is also a variety of entertainment running each night at Pier 60, where Sunsets are a daily event in Clearwater. The city hosts major annual events, including the Eggquatic Egg Hunt, a Father's day Barbecue and Light It Clearwater, as well as many regular events, including fortnightly Dive-In Movies at the Recreation Complex, summer craft fairs and community band concerts. With sand sculpting competitions and elite sporting event tournaments, you'll never be short of something to do in Clearwater.

With a menu of globally inspired dishes, a sushi bar and a ceviche bar, there are plenty of different cuisines available. Caretta on the Gulf is considered one of Clearwaters best dining experiences for a sit-down meal, or if you need a quick snack to keep you on track, there are plenty of beach bars, cafes and even Barefoot Beach House, a walk-up window where you can quickly order a sandwich to go.

Clearwater offers some of the longest and hottest summers between June and August, with temperatures reaching an average of 31°C. January is the coldest month in Clearwater; however, the weather remains quite pleasant during this time, with the average temperature dropping to around 15°C. Despite the heat, August is recorded as the wettest month, while November and December tend to remain the driest.
