Miami Holidays 2023 & 2024

What do you think of when you hear the word Miami? Is it the palm trees blowing in the gentle breeze, the white sand beaches or the electric nightlife? Or is it the spectacular skyline and high-rise buildings that make Miami one of Florida‘s most iconic cities? Perhaps it’s all of these things, but one thing is certain. However, you envision Miami. It’s not far from reality. As one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States, it’s no wonder thousands of people from all over the world flock here every year.

In addition to being one of America's top destinations for food and drink, Miami has something for everyone: from high-end shopping to low-key restaurants, from luxurious spas to beachside lounging. Whatever type of holiday you desire, Miami can deliver. Enjoy some retail therapy in one of the most luxurious shopping cities in America. Bal Harbour Shops or Lincoln Road Mall are home to some of the most upscale boutiques. For a more vintage feel, head to Espanola Way Antique Center for some good old-fashioned thrift store browsing.
If you’re passionate about marine life, take a trip to the Seaquarium, get up close with dolphins, manatees, and sea lions, and enjoy the daily shows and feedings.
Choose from one of the many galleries that showcase local and upcoming artists. Take a tour of South Beach’s Art Deco District and learn about its history as one of Florida's most beloved historic neighbourhoods, or head to the home of Broadway, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, in Miami Beach.

Miami is not only known for its vibrant nightlife, but its culinary scene is also a significant draw. Whether you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a more formal meal, there's no shortage of options. From sports bars with wings and burgers where you can catch a game on one of the many large televisions (we're not kidding—you won't miss anything) to cocktail lounges that are perfect for small groups or large parties, there's something for everyone. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a trip to The Salty Donut. A gourmet doughnut shop with something for everyone. From classic glazed to the more offbeat flavours like bacon maple and PB&J. Be sure to try the doughnuts with their signature salted caramel sauce! For a seafood supper, swing by The Ceviche Bar at the Bazaar by José Andrés. This restaurant serves up fresh seafood ceviche in a unique atmosphere that's equal parts fun and exciting—made from not any local fish but fish flown in directly from the coast of Peru!
-
The sun's rays are strong in Miami all year round, but they're even more intense during the summertime (June-August). The summer months are when you'll find yourself sweating most profusely and longing for a dip in the ocean to cool off. The summertime is also when you'll want to be sure you're wearing sunscreen!
If you'd like to avoid the summer heat, consider visiting from November through April instead. During these months, the temperatures are still high enough for beach activities but not so hot that you'll need an air conditioner at night.
