With a generally mild climate all year round, there's never a wrong time to visit the Deep South. Summers are hot and toasty, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to around 33°C; however, on very hot days, these temperatures can climb close to 40°C. Spring and autumn are when the Deep South becomes slightly cooler. Days are still warm and comfortable, with evening temperatures dropping slightly, so be sure to bring a light jacket if you plan on staying out and about after dark. Winter temperatures tend to fall below 10°C, with the air feeling fresh and crisp.
