  • Considered one of the best climates in the world, you'll never be short of things to see and do in Tenerife. For keen hikers, you must head to Teide National Park. Hop on the cable car and be whisked up the side of Mount Teide, almost reaching the summit, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views below in one of nature's most beautiful settings. Swing by Masca and discover the delightful hidden village where residents once sought refuge from ruthless pirates. For the thrill seekers out there, you will not want to leave Tenerife without visiting the world-famous Siam Park. The biggest water park in Europe. Siam Park is situated in the south of Tenerife and attracts thousands of water park enthusiasts every single day. Take a ride down the lazy river, get lost in all the twists and turns of the many spectacular slides and experience the heart-stopping 28-meter drop from the top of the Tower of Power. With on-site lockers, plenty of restaurants and memories that will last a lifetime, it's the perfect day out for the whole family. Just be sure to remember your sunscreen!

    Nightlife

Tenerife's nightlife is among the best in and around the Canary Islands. Playa de Las Américas is the party capital of the whole island. Here you'll find pubs, bars, restaurants and nightclubs serving classic cocktails, ice-cold beers and a vibrant atmosphere that will leave you buzzing. It's the perfect scene for adults of all ages.

  • Tenerife serves up some of the most delicious grilled meats and fresh seafood, accompanied by their signature potato dish, papas arrugadas. A must-try when on the island. Offering everything from sweet to spicy dishes, you'll be sure to find exactly what your tastebuds desire. Most bars and restaurants serve tapas, giving travellers the opportunity to taste some of the menu's most iconic and authentic dishes along with their signature sauces. When served with an ice-cold Dorada, you will really feel like you are in paradise.

  • Boasting sunshine all year round and temperatures ranging from 15°C in the winter to a staggering 35°C in the summer, there's always a good time to visit Tenerife. August is when temperatures tend to reach their highest and is the most popular month for tourists to book. January remains Tenerife's coldest month; however, temperatures stay mild and pleasant, with 6 hours of sunshine a day. Despite the warm temperatures, rainfall is at its highest between November and February, so if you don't want to experience warm showers, you’re best to avoid these months.
