Where to stay & things to do in
New York Holidays 2023 & 2024

  • New York City is one of the most exciting and diverse cities in the world. It’s a place where you can find everything from the most famous tourist attractions in the United States to delicious food, great shopping, incredible art, cool nightlife, and exciting sports. Its attractions are endless, and its people are some of the most exciting you’ll ever encounter.

  • New York City is home to some of the most iconic landmarks in the world, and it has so many different sights to see. If you're looking for a vacation that will really make you feel like you've travelled somewhere new, New York City is the perfect place to go!

One location that everyone who visits New York City should see is the Statue of Liberty. It's not difficult to get there—you can take a ferry from Battery Park or Ellis Island (which also offers tours). The Statue of Liberty was given as a gift from France to America after the Civil War, and it stands on an island off Manhattan's southern tip.

Another iconic landmark is the Empire State Building—it's so tall that, 1,250 to be exact, it seems like it might actually reach into space! You can visit this skyscraper by taking an elevator up to the observation deck at 1,050 feet above ground level. You can also take a tour of this historic building, where you'll be granted access to some of the most spectacular views.

    Where To Stay

There are plenty of great places to stay when you visit New York. Whether it be a hostel, motel, B&B or a five-star hotel, you'll find accommodation in some of the most popular locations in the city. You can stay within minutes of the city's most famous landmarks, from Central Park to the Brooklyn Bridge.

  • You can find pretty much anything you want to eat in New York City. Home to some of the most authentic Texas barbecue restaurants, you can choose from classic American favourites like cheeseburgers and pizza to international delicacies like Indian curry and Ethiopian injera bread. And if you're looking for something more unique, you can get yourself some black sesame ice cream or halal hot dogs!

Famed for its classic cocktails and ice-cold beers, nightlife in the Big Apple has some of the most famous bars, live music and popular nightclubs. So whether you are heading out for a bite to eat or a night on the town, you're sure to find something for everyone when you visit New York.

  • New York City has four distinct seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. Spring arrives in March and lasts through May. It is marked by mild temperatures and a lot of sunshine. Summer hits its peak in July and August, with temperatures averaging 27°C. Fall comes next from September through November when the temperatures drop dramatically to a much cooler 10°C. Winter arrives in December and lasts until February with some snowfall but also sunny days that can bring temperatures up to around 4°C.
