Customer Reviews
Great Campground to stay with a family. Very well maintained, the landscaping is cute. The whole campground is free from trash or any junk. The bathrooms are very well kept. The pool is clean. The staff is the greatest. They held activities all weekend for the kids and us adults that are still kids at heart. Our two boys met some friends and they all had a great safe time roaming around the campground on “adventures” I can’t for the life of me understand how you couldn’t appreciate what this place is. Relaxing, Safe, Clean, and inexpensive. It’s a hidden gem and what your grandparents would’ve taken you to growing up for a long weekend getaway.
We have stayed at many KOAs across the United States and this one was great! I didn't use the shower house or bathrooms but I checked them out (of course) and they were SPOTLESS!!!! Our spot was easy to get to and pull through. It was shaded which for us was a huge win. We did have a minor water issue, due to our neighbors, but it was quickly fixed and we didn't even skip a beat. The only issue we had, but for us it was not a big deal and we did not report it - sorry, was the breaker on the power connect pole was going bad so when we ran an appliance (air fryer or electric skillet - not at the same time though) and our air conditioning, the breaker would trip. We just improvised and turned the air off while I cooked - again, no biggie but I would take a look at that. We loved the pool and our dogs LOVED the doggie park. Thank you for a great stay - we really appreciate it and would recommend your KOA to everyone!!!
This review should be for the KOA in Anderson. While it seems a bit crowded it appears to have some great amenities. Frisbee Golf, a playground, pool, game room, covered picnic table area. We were there visiting friends the location has cabins, primitive camping as well as RV close to the conveniences of water which is why people love it
Called to cancel on Monday due to RV mechanical problems. Reservation was for Thursday-Friday reservation and the owner advised there would be no refund inside of 7 days policy in effect a year. However her disposition and customer service was lacking any empathy for loss of deposit. Went on to state she is running a business and the campground is booked up on the weekends. However she could have offered a credit or an ear of comfort.
We’ve stayed here several times over the past 25 years. We’ve outgrown the campground - the roads/infrastructure are not big rig friendly. Many of the amenities need to be replaced/renovated. Service with a smile when you sign in. Lots of shade. Very cramped.
