Promotions or Special Offers

As a county park campground, Meinert Park Pines Campground typically operates under a structured fee system rather than frequent promotional offers seen at privately owned campgrounds. However, there are aspects of Muskegon County Parks that can offer value to regular visitors or those planning extended stays in the area.

  • Muskegon County Parks Pass: While not a direct campground promotion, Muskegon County offers a season pass that provides motor vehicle entry to four of its beautiful parks throughout the year, including Meinert Park. This pass, available for a nominal fee (e.g., $25), can be a significant saving for locals who plan to visit multiple county parks or make frequent day trips to Meinert Park and its beach area throughout the year.

  • Standardized Rates: Camping rates are typically set annually by Muskegon County Parks. While not a "promotion," consistent and publicly available pricing allows campers to budget effectively. In recent years, full hookup sites at Meinert Park Pines Campground have been noted at a reasonable nightly rate (e.g., $45 USD in June 2024). It's always best to check the current rates on the Muskegon County Parks website or by contacting them directly for the most up-to-date pricing.

  • Off-Peak Season Considerations: Although Meinert Park Pines Campground operates seasonally (May to September), some campgrounds in Michigan offer lower rates or special deals during the shoulder seasons (early May or late September). While not explicitly advertised for Meinert, inquiring about potential slight variations in pricing during these times might be worthwhile.

  • Group and Shelter Rentals: While not a discount on individual campsites, the availability of a rental picnic shelter within Meinert Park allows for more affordable large group gatherings or events compared to renting private venues. This feature provides value for family reunions, company picnics, or other community events.

Great place to take the family camping. Sites are a little small but they are level and clean. Lots of full hookup sites. Facilities are clean. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Lake Michigan........ that's all you need to know! And while you are there, don't miss the opportunity to swing by Mac's Meats in nearby Rothbury MI for anything meat or one of their gigantic donuts or fritters. 😋
