Country Junction Resort & Marina About

For Tennessee locals seeking a truly laid-back and authentic lake experience, Country Junction Resort & Marina in Springville, TN, offers a unique blend of campground comfort and marina convenience. Located at 221 Lakeshore Dr, this destination is designed for those who appreciate a relaxed atmosphere, a friendly community, and direct access to the expansive beauty of Kentucky Lake. It's a place where the rules are flexible enough for self-policing, yet the owners are always there when needed, creating a genuine sense of freedom and support for campers and boaters alike.

Many Tennesseans cherish the spirit of informal community and mutual respect when enjoying the outdoors, and Country Junction Resort & Marina seems to embody this perfectly. As one delighted camper enthusiastically declared, "I & my family, friends & all other campers we have met agree Across the board Country Junction Rocks!!!! The rules are loose enough we can police ourselves but when we need the owners help they are there!!!! I so appreciate this place, it’s our little piece of heaven in today’s world!! Thank You for EVERYTHING! This past weekend could have been a mess without your Immediate help!!!! You are very much appreciated!!" This heartfelt testimonial speaks volumes about the level of trust and assistance offered by the management, fostering an environment where guests feel truly valued and supported.

While the resort has a clear emphasis on land-based access for vehicles, with a $5 per day "on your honor fee" for coming in off the road, it's important for potential visitors to note that accessing the property from the water might be less encouraged by management, as highlighted by a review mentioning it "felt weird" trying to tie up a boat from the lake side. This suggests that the primary mode of enjoyment is from the campground and utilizing the marina's dedicated services for boat docking. Nevertheless, the warm reception from residents, who are "super nice" and even offer golf cart rides to local eateries, paints a picture of a welcoming community ready to share their "little piece of heaven" with newcomers, making Country Junction Resort & Marina a compelling choice for Tennessee locals seeking a relaxed lakeside retreat.

Location and Accessibility

Country Junction Resort & Marina is strategically located at 221 Lakeshore Dr, Springville, TN 38256, USA. This address places it directly on the shores of Kentucky Lake, one of Tennessee's most prominent and beloved natural assets. Its lakeside position provides campers and boaters with unparalleled access to the vast recreational opportunities that Kentucky Lake offers, from exceptional fishing and boating to various water sports and scenic beauty.

Accessibility to Country Junction Resort & Marina is generally straightforward for Tennessee locals. Springville is a recognized community in the Kentucky Lake area, reachable via well-maintained state and local roads. For RV travelers, the drive is typically smooth, ensuring a hassle-free journey to the resort. The "on your honor fee" for vehicle access coming in off the road suggests a clear, established entry point for land-based arrivals.

While direct water access for transient tie-ups might be less encouraged by management as per a review, the fact that it is a "Marina" implies dedicated docking facilities for registered guests, making it highly convenient for those who keep their boats at the resort. The location also offers easy access to local amenities. Residents are noted for offering golf cart rides to a "great BBQ place" and highlighting "amazing burgers at the grocery store," indicating that local dining and essential services are within easy reach. Residents were super nice. Gave us rides in golf cart up the hill to great BBQ place and burgers at the grocery store are amazing. We wanted to tie boat up to the dock, but management doesn't encourage that. There is a $5 per day on your honor fee coming in off the road in a vehicle, we would have happily paid, but we were not well received from the water side. They allowed it for a minute, but it felt weird. Don't recmn'd accessing it from the water.

The owner is very arrogant and rude. If you rent a lot from him, you’re not even allowed to flush your used toilet paper down the toilet. There are multiple rules that you should read before signing your lease. There are many more campground areas that are much friendlier and kept to standard.

Beautiful. You get a good views of the river plus a boat launch and dock. People are very friendly. The sites are average with plenty of room for a vehicle and a personal porch. Good camp ground.

I have visited and stayed at country junction multiple times over the past 3 or so years. The place is beautiful and fun all except for some of the people who also stay there or are camping there. Everytime that I have gone an elder man or woman has come up to me and my siblings and been extremely rude to us or just sat and stared at us as we swam. Not only that but we brought a friend with us as well and he tends to dress in all black but he means no one any harm he's a great person he just likes the color black and im assuming the elderly there didnt think he looked proper enough to be there and so everytime he would wave or just do nothing in general just sitting and talking with us they would give him disgusted looks and come up to us and start hassassing us.Not only them but some of the teenagers that stayed there as well. About 6 of them or so had come up to us while at the river and been extremely rude to us as well. These arent just average campers most of these ppl live there and just because my sisters and i dont live there gives none of these people any right to treat us this way. This has not happened not once or twice but every single time. Other than being harrassed and stared at by golf carters and campers the place is absouletly beautiful and we had a great time anyway.
