As a state park campground, Dukes Forest Campground at Lake Murray typically operates under the pricing and reservation structures set by Oklahoma State Parks. Specific promotional offers, discounts, or special packages are not commonly advertised directly by individual state park campgrounds in the same way a private business might. However, potential opportunities for savings or special access might exist through broader state park initiatives or programs:
Oklahoma State Parks Annual Passes: While not a discount on individual campsite fees, an annual pass might offer benefits like free entry to state parks where day-use fees apply, which could be beneficial for frequent visitors to Lake Murray State Park and other state park facilities.
Senior Citizen Discounts: Many state park systems offer discounted rates for senior citizens on camping or day-use fees. Eligibility and discount percentages vary, so it's worth inquiring if such a program applies at Dukes Forest Campground.
Military Discounts: Similar to senior discounts, some state parks provide reduced rates for active military personnel and veterans. Contacting the park directly to confirm eligibility is recommended.
Off-Season Rates: While not always formal "promotions," some state parks may have lower rates during the off-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter, early spring) when demand is lower and services might be more limited. Visiting during these times can offer a more secluded experience at a potentially reduced cost.
Group Rates or Event Bookings: For organizations or large groups hosting events, like the "two huge camps per year" mentioned in a review, there may be specific booking procedures or rates. This would require direct communication with park management.
For the most accurate and current information regarding any applicable discounts, reservation policies, or potential special offers, it is highly recommended to contact Dukes Forest Campground or the Oklahoma State Parks reservation system directly. They will be able to provide the definitive details for planning your visit.

Customer Reviews
Went here at the end of May and during a non-holiday weekend hoping to beat the heat and the crowds. We had good weather though it was a bit hot during the day and no wind. Duke's was a nice campground. It didn't have as many people as the other campgrounds around Lake Murray had, but it wasn't really close to the water. We tent camp but spent our stay at an RV spot. Having electricity and water nearby was nice. Tent camping sites were about 100yrds from bathrooms. Our site was a bit closer but not too close. Tent sites are first come first serve. RV spots as well but you can reserve them. Sites were fairly clean. Picnic tables are cement and pretty uncomfortable. Some RV sites were challenging to find places for a tent. If you like being away from people, with some slight separation from others, this was nice. The people managing the location were nice. Bathrooms were pretty good though it would have been nice if they would use a broom once in a while to clear out the spiders and other insects. Lake Murray is a nice place to visit. Hoping to return again!
Lake Murray is wonderful. Duke's Forest is one of the last campgrounds in need of an upgrade for the state park. We're hopeful that the state will do the upgrade soon. We host two huge camps per year here. They keep it clean and in working order ... Still hoping for upgrades 🤠
We love this place. We held our family reunion here and had 14 spots reserved. The campground is beautiful. There are walking trails that go down to the lake. There is a nice kids playground for the kiddoes and a nice backdrop for baseball or in our case, kickball. The bathhouse is typical of ml ost campgrounds (stinky and always wet). The rv spots are plenty long enough for larger rvs and even room for toads. Each spot has a picnic table, 30 amp service and water. The rv dump station is close enough in case you have to use a portable dump buggy. All in all we gave this place a strong 5 out of 5.
I made my second visit to this campsite in the last year. It's a great place and we'll maintained.
Great place needs work on rds restrooms and sites. Over all had a good time, can reserve the park for private events.
