Lake Palo Pinto RV Park About
Texas is a sprawling state known for its diverse landscapes, from the majestic mountains of Big Bend to the serene coastlines of the Gulf. For many Texans, the call of the open road and the tranquility of nature lead them to the rewarding world of RV living. Whether you’re an avid angler, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a quiet escape from the everyday hustle, finding the perfect RV park can make all the difference. Nestled on the shores of its namesake lake, Lake Palo Pinto RV Park offers a unique blend of convenience, natural beauty, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an excellent choice for local RVers looking for a peaceful retreat.
Imagine waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, with the shimmering waters of Lake Palo Pinto just steps away. This is the daily reality for guests at Lake Palo Pinto RV Park. It’s a place where the pace slows down, allowing you to truly unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. The park prides itself on providing a serene environment, making it a favorite among those who appreciate peace and quiet. While it does host some long-term residents, the community is generally described as friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for all.
One of the most significant advantages of this park is its direct access to Lake Palo Pinto. For fishing enthusiasts, this is an undeniable highlight. With a public boat ramp right there, launching your boat for a day on the water is incredibly convenient. If you prefer a more relaxed approach, you can cast your line directly from the bank or from the park’s boardwalk. And for those spur-of-the-moment fishing trips, the on-site availability of live minnows for bait is a thoughtful touch that saves you an extra stop. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, it’s worth noting that interactions with management regarding property boundaries are important to clarify upon arrival to ensure a smooth stay, as one review highlighted a misunderstanding regarding public vs. private access.

Customer Reviews
Great little RV park right on Lake Palo Pinto. Public boat ramp right there. You can fish from the bank or their boardwalk. The manager was friendly and helpful. He has live minnows for bait on site. Only 20-minute drive to TPWD's Roger Fawcett Wildlife Management Area. The park has some long-term residents, but people are friendly. It was a very quiet park (except for a little noise from a nearby power plant on the lake). Pretty good rates, especially by the week.
We have lived in the area about 2 years my son and I was walking around doing a little fishing a guy and a golf cart came up and kicked us off the property. Little uncalled for in my opinion,we were not bothering anyone. Seems as though he wanted to exercise his authority. We will be getting our fishing supplies, live bait elsewhere.
Beautiful place to gather with family and friends for a weekend.
It's a laid back establishment that a lot of locals go to. It was karaoke night, which I think is every Thursday, outside on the deck. It was fun eating and visiting on the deck while people sang. They have a full bar and seating inside too. We both liked our food, a bacon cheeseburger and the catfish basket. The girls working the bar did great at keeping the people inside and outside attended to.
Campgrounds and rv spaces. Clean bathrooms with showers.
