It’s a testament to Missouri’s natural splendor, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all who visit.
Redman Creek Pavilion is conveniently located at Missouri T, Wappapello, MO 63966, USA. This prime address places it directly on the shores of the vast Wappapello Lake, a renowned destination for water recreation in Southeast Missouri. For residents across our state, reaching this campground is a straightforward journey, often involving scenic drives through the heart of the Ozarks foothills.
Despite its tranquil, nature-rich setting, Redman Creek Pavilion is remarkably accessible. It's close enough to larger population centers, including being a manageable drive from areas like Kansas City (though the review mentions "Kansas City attractions," Wappapello is much closer to Poplar Bluff and Cape Girardeau, indicating perhaps a misunderstanding or a general reference to Missouri attractions). The ease of access means less time traveling and more time enjoying the numerous activities available at the lake and within the campground. Its location as part of the Wappapello Lake recreation area ensures that you're never far from boating, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor pursuits, making it an ideal base for your Missouri adventures.
Redman Creek Pavilion, being an Army Corps of Engineers-built facility, is known for its well-planned and extensive services, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for all campers.
Redman Creek Pavilion stands out for several key features that enhance the camping experience, making it a highly desirable destination for Missouri locals.
As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) managed campground, specific "promotions" in the traditional sense might not always be advertised. However, COE campgrounds often offer consistent, value-driven pricing. It is highly recommended to check the official Recreation.gov website (which is the primary reservation platform for many federal campgrounds) for current rates and any potential seasonal discounts. Reservations can typically be made up to six months in advance, and sometimes even up to 12 months for Missouri State Parks (which Wappapello Lake is associated with, though Redman Creek is COE-managed). Visitors should also inquire about senior or access pass discounts, which are standard for federal recreation sites. Staying informed through the Wappapello Lake Project Office or their official website (often linked through Recreation.gov) is the best way to learn about any special offers or events, such as holiday celebrations or specific programming that might enhance your stay.

This was a very nice RV Park, built by the Army COE (Corps Of Engineers). We had full hookup. Sites were VERY large and spaced out widely. Beautiful park, lots of mature trees and grassy areas. We saw deer more than once! Close to Kansas City attractions.
