Nice campground, most spots were not very long but level. 24 hr traffic noise from the highway but fishing was fun
Apr 12, 2025 · shellie leggettOf note, the highway noise seemed minimal to me. However, we were there on a weekend and The airboats were LOUD. Like Gator National loud. Otherwise I agree with all the positive reviews regarding the location and amenities.
Apr 18, 2025 · Amy SVery nice, clean campground. We enjoyed it very much
May 22, 2025 · Sharon McdonaldNice campground but if highway traffic bothers you, pick a campsite in the back of the park in cypress glen
Mar 24, 2025 · Gerry McSilver Lake Campground is beautiful. I have stayed in the tent camping section - Crooked River - multiple times. The campsites are all nice, the bathhouse has always been clean and stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. There is fresh pavement throughout the park now. The area up near Silver Lake itself has covered picnic tables, a boat ramp, and a nice covered pavilion. The RV campers are significantly closer to I75 and say the highway noise is quite loud at night, but I haven't experienced that. I love camping and kayaking here. 💕
