Bluff Dale RV Park About

Howdy, fellow Texans! When you're cruising through our beautiful state in your RV, finding the perfect spot to settle in, whether for a night or a longer stay, is key. Today, we’re taking a closer look at Bluff Dale RV Park, a smaller, often-praised spot conveniently located right off US-377 in Bluff Dale, Texas. This park has garnered a mix of feedback, highlighting both its charming qualities and some challenges that recent visitors have encountered. Understanding both sides is crucial for planning your next stop.

Bluff Dale RV Park is generally described as a "nice little RV park" that offers a quiet environment, a feature highly valued by many RVers. Its appeal often lies in its simplicity and the peaceful atmosphere it has historically provided. For those seeking a no-frills, tranquil spot with essential services, particularly during cooler months, it has been a reliable choice. The ease of access from the highway and its strategic location between Granbury and Stephenville are also significant draws for travelers and those working in the area.

However, recent experiences shared by visitors reveal some important considerations. While past reviews lauded the management as "the nicest, kindest and understanding person I’ve met," more current feedback indicates potential inconsistencies in customer service. Concerns about aggressive unleashed dogs and an overwhelming presence of mosquitoes during warmer months have also been raised, which are vital factors for Texans planning their travels, especially those with families or pets. It’s important to weigh these varied experiences when deciding if Bluff Dale RV Park is the right fit for your specific needs.

The park's full hookups are a definite plus, ensuring that your basic needs for electricity, water, and sewer are met. While amenities might be minimal compared to larger resorts, for many RVers, the priority is a functional and peaceful place to park. The park's "all dirt" sites and potential for uneven ground are also points to note, suggesting that some leveling might be required upon arrival.

As Texans, we understand that flexibility and clear communication are key when planning our journeys. The mixed reviews suggest that while Bluff Dale RV Park has strong positives like its quiet nature and convenient location, potential visitors should be prepared for certain environmental factors during different seasons and consider confirming specific site details and pet policies directly with management. By providing this comprehensive overview, our aim is to help you make an informed decision for your travels through the heart of Texas.

Bluff Dale RV Park is conveniently situated at 27929 US-377, Bluff Dale, TX 76433, USA. This location offers excellent accessibility, placing it directly off US Highway 377, a significant thoroughfare in Central Texas. This makes for easy entry and exit, a feature appreciated by RVers navigating with larger rigs.

The park's strategic positioning on US-377 provides quick and direct access to two vibrant Texas towns: Stephenville and Granbury. Edit: Came here on the freeze and it was nice But now in summer, damn. This place is ridden with mosquitos! Sworms of them. I can't even open the door without them trying to get inside. There's this one guy with a black and white collie, he let's him so his business everywhere he wants! Of course even peeing other people's rvs! And not only that but the dog is aggressive! It tried to attack me and my dogs. I think my scream scared him off since im loud. The owner? Didn't gove an inch! He just after the fact called his dog to get in after a bit of struggle. No apology no nothing. Like if it was my fault. He got inside his camper all mad that his off leash aggresive dog tried to attacke me. When ee pulled in we also has a new and bad experince with the manager. We told her the spot she gave us was too short and that there was someone parked rather close that we didn't want to bother. There was another spot available and we asked about it. And i say available cause in the 3 days here no one was come. Anyways she was having a very rude tone and asked what color truck it was. We told her. She was like no, nahah, there is no truck in the rv park with that color! My husband and i looked at each other amd where like ok?🤨. We even asked our kids. Mind you 3 are old and know their colors and they 3 said it looked grey. So yeah this lady was probably just going through something cause she was so nice last time but she was very rude and condencending this time. Honestly the only reason that we didn't stay at Vw's spot is because we wanted to do business with this rather smaller rv park but no way are we coming back. Specially after that lose dog attack. I have kids and honestly id have a border collie pelt on my doortep if it would've attacked my kids! Old review when the freese hit: Nice little rv park Quiet. Neighbors don't bother It's all dirt though and the spot we had was a bit uneven. Full hooks ups. I don't think there was any amenities, not that I saw. The manager is the nicest, kindest and understanding person I've met. I would honestly come back
