Lived here since 2008, the current property manager Maribel is friendly and has fixed and even replaced issues with no hassle to me. The neighborhood is kept clean, quiet, and safe. Love to see it staying well maintained.
Unfortunately the park was bought out by out-of-state California investors. And they are going FULL force on threatening people with fines and evictions, by nitpicking everybody's mobile home/lot. Update: They have fixed most of the office outside issues and they have done some improvements in the park. Also they brought in a miniature dumpster in the park. And I noticed the management has cooled off towards everyone.
I have lived here for 3 almost 4 years.. I've been thru 2 owners and 4 managers... they have upgraded this park and it is way better than it was. No more renters all owners which is great! We all know owners take better care of their property for the most part. When renters were here there was big turn over in tenants and often problem neighbors! Now it's quiet you know your neighbors and there are few problems. I've NEVER had a problem with any of the managers! I treat them with dignity and respect and I get it back from them. There are rules you have to go by tho but I understand that they are for the good of the park and the tenants who live here . If I have a problem our manager takes care of it promptly! She also takes time to check on me because she knows I have a chronic illness. She does this with several others also.. so she goes above and beyond her job. The new owner has made improvements and had tenants improve their property... it looks so much better! Overall I think Carter's is a nice quiet clean safe place to live! I only have 1 complaint and that the manager is only here 2 days a week instead of every weekday like with previous owner. I only gave 4 stars because no place is perfect!!! Oh yes and also you can have pets which is awsome!.. at any rate I would definitely recommend Carter's to anyone looking for a place to live.
