This is a county park, but, wow, is it great! A big spring with swimming, it borders the Suwannee River. Really nice full hookups campground with plenty of space between the campsites. The park is located close to many other springs and state parks. Just a few miles from Chiefland where you can get gas, eat out, get groceries, etc. I suspect we will return here another year.
Mar 06, 2025 · Richard HarrisThis is a nice park with courteous staff and very clean. The only reason for 4 stars is the Dusk to Dawn lights that were shining all night long. There is no nighttime sky here, it's lit up like a Walmart parking lot. So if you prefer to be able to tell night from day and wake up with the sun rise, this isn't the place. The moon light was great, campfire ambiance was awesome but those street lights are a deal breaker for us.
Mar 14, 2025 · KJ BoydThis campground is a family favorite of ours and we have brought our camper every year for at least 5 years. Campsites are spacious and accommodate large rigs, especially the middle sites. The pool has always been clean and the spring is one of the best in Florida. There are 2 playgrounds for the kids, a splash pad, basketball court, and 2 volleyball courts. Overall, I highly recommend Hart Springs.
May 12, 2025 · Ashleigh KingThis campground is a hidden gem! FHU sites, laundry, pool, quiet and a wonderful couple, Ann and Greg as camp hosts! What more could you ask for! We will definitely be back!
Mar 23, 2025 · Julie GramollWe spent a fantastic four nights at this beautiful campground and park. My family really enjoyed everything about this park. The sites are spacious and relatively private on the outside of the loop. The campground hosts were kind, personable folks who were very accomadating. We enjoyed playing in the spring (cold but you got used to it lol), having fun in the splash pad, and exploring the nature trails. There is a paved path, about a 10 or 15 minute walk, to the spring area and I recommend walking it at least once even if you have bikes or a golf cart. The wildlife and nature views are worth the extra steps! The bath house and laundry area were clean and well cared for and the pool was refreshing as well. I do wish they could come up with a better alternative to the paper bracelets we had to wear all weekend but I got used it, just my kids needed something more durable, and something they could take off at night. Nonetheless, pack sunscreen and get ready to have a wonderful time!
