For RV enthusiasts in Georgia, Lake Nottely RV Park Pavilion offers a unique and compelling proposition, particularly for those seeking a seasonal or long-term base in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Its suitability for locals stems from several key aspects that align perfectly with the desire for regular, hassle-free escapes into nature.
Firstly, the park's location by Lake Nottely is a significant draw. Being able to easily access the lake for boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the serene views is a luxury for any outdoor lover. For Georgians living in more urbanized areas, the relatively short drive to Blairsville means less time on the road and more time enjoying their RV and the surrounding environment. This convenience makes spontaneous weekend trips or extended seasonal stays much more feasible and less of a logistical challenge.
The seasonal lease model is a standout feature for local RV owners. Instead of constantly searching for available sites or dealing with fluctuating nightly rates, having a dedicated leased lot provides stability and a sense of permanence. This allows RV owners to set up their space and truly make it a seasonal home, fostering a more relaxed and familiar camping experience. It’s ideal for those who wish to spend a significant portion of the warmer months immersed in the mountain and lake lifestyle without the responsibilities of property ownership. The inclusion of winter storage for the RV on the lot further enhances this convenience, eliminating the need to transport the RV back and forth.
Furthermore, the amenities provided, such as full hookups, big-rig friendly sites, on-site bathhouse and laundry facilities, and access to a pavilion, cater specifically to the needs of long-term RV living. These conveniences elevate the camping experience beyond basic rustic living, ensuring comfort and practicality. The potential for a community atmosphere, built around fellow seasonal residents, can also be a strong draw, offering opportunities for social interaction and shared experiences.
Finally, the wealth of outdoor activities available right at the park's doorstep and in the surrounding Blairsville area makes it an attractive hub for adventure. From hiking the Nottely Reservoir Trail or sections of the Appalachian Trail to exploring Brasstown Bald and other state parks, there's always something new to discover. This combination of a convenient, comfortable, and activity-rich environment makes Lake Nottely RV Park Pavilion an excellent choice for Georgians looking for a consistent, high-quality RV experience in one of the state's most picturesque regions. It’s a chance to truly embrace the RV lifestyle as a seasonal resident, creating a cherished escape amidst the natural beauty of North Georgia.

I would NEVER stay here. The owner is mean-spirited and stupid to post mean comments on a Facebook page promoting the RV lifestyle. What RV park owner does that??
Mar 05, 2025 · Anne KlumppWe had a great time hiking the Lake Nottley area. The trails are long enough for a one or two hour stroll. The paths are well maintained and mostly easy walking. There is limited parking, but still enough for that trail as long as people park properly. The trails are marked and set up in various loops so you can choose how many miles you want to hike.

May 18, 2017 · Dick BellBest boar ramp on lake lake notley. If your tournament fishing or pleasure boating this is easy and has great parking with dock access. I visited last for a bass tournament and however I did not win this one I placed in the top 6. The ramp is out of the way for most lake access but always has great parking and kept cleen.
