This past year was my first camping at this park, it is much better cared for than many of the others, people are friendly, and I had a really great time here. It is sad to see that it is now for sale and my future here has become uncertain. 5 stars for the park but only 2 for the company that would sell it, (and that may be too generous on my part).
Jan 24, 2025 · Marc LVery nice campground, smaller so it makes that camping experience even better. Bathrooms are nice as well the showers, pool is great to. There is put put golf, fishing boats to rent daily, kayak's paddle boats and paddle boards. Oh and they rent jet skis by the day. Beautiful lake to, campground overlooking lake, has nice sandy beach to. Game room is cool to. Tons more I didn't list. Great place and very private and peaceful. We camp here 6 weeks a year. Great campground.
Jun 07, 2022 · John McarthyWe love staying at Lake of the North because it is so quiet and peaceful. But we take our fur babies and there is no place for pet waist disposal for getting rid if it properly like pales. So we have to take the bags and put in the trash can by the doors going into the game room or office and I’m sure that people don’t like to smell that. Sorry! The staff is wonderful and very friendly and the park is well kept. The park store is well stocked for the incidentals and that is nice. Looking forward to staying there again.
