Location and Accessibility

Big Bass Village RV Park is strategically located at 10530 SE 201st St, Inglis, FL 34449, USA. This address places it squarely within the charming town of Inglis, a less-traveled but incredibly rewarding area in Levy County, Florida. Inglis is renowned as a gateway to the Nature Coast, a region celebrated for its pristine natural beauty and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities.

The park's location offers excellent accessibility for RVers traveling from various parts of Florida and beyond. Situated close to major roads like US-19 and State Highway 40, it provides convenient routes to and from the park. This ease of access is crucial for RV travel, ensuring a smooth journey without the challenges of navigating overly congested areas.

What truly sets the location apart is its proximity to significant natural landmarks and attractions. Big Bass Village RV Park is ideally positioned for those who love fishing, particularly bass fishing, given its name and the proximity to Lake Rousseau. Lake Rousseau, an impoundment of the Withlacoochee River, is well-known among anglers for its trophy-size bass. The park's website highlights its connection to "World Class bass fishing on beautiful Lake Rousseau," with easy access to the lake via its boat ramp.

Beyond fishing, the location provides a wealth of other outdoor activities. The Withlacoochee River offers opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and observing diverse wildlife. The Goethe Wildlife Management Area is nearby for hunting enthusiasts, and the beautiful Gulf's ocean beaches are approximately twelve miles away, offering saltwater fishing and coastal relaxation. Historic Ocala, a larger city with more extensive shopping, dining, and cultural attractions, is also within a reasonable driving distance (about thirty-five miles). This balance of peaceful natural surroundings and convenient access to both local amenities and broader regional attractions makes Big Bass Village RV Park an ideal base for exploring the authentic side of Florida.

Real Florida lives here. Forget the fake tropical landscapes. Forget the hot concrete and unless retail ripoff shopping centers. Find out where peace meets serenity. Where the cypress meet the palms trees. A hidden gem Big Bass is and if u want to see where real Florida lives I highly recommend this quite, beautiful slice of heaven. My time spent here was full of lake views, ocean views and small town feel at its finest. Wildlife, country life and the beach. What more could u ask for?
