Promotions or Special Offers

  • Floating Packages: During peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Huzzah Valley Resort offers packages that combine lodging or camping with meals (dinner and breakfast) and a float trip. These bundles can provide significant savings compared to booking each component separately.
  • Loyalty Program for Floating: The resort features a loyalty program for its float trips. For example, if you float with them twice at regular price, your third trip might earn a 5% discount, the fourth 10%, the fifth 15%, and your sixth trip could even be free (based on the most used craft type). It's crucial to make reservations under the same name and call the office to apply these discounts prior to payment. This program encourages repeat visits for avid floaters.
  • Group Rates: Given its capacity for large groups and various lodging options (like farmhouses), Huzzah Valley Resort likely offers special rates for group bookings, such as family reunions, corporate retreats, or organizational outings. It is best to inquire directly for custom group packages.
  • Off-Season Deals: During the shoulder seasons (spring before Memorial Day and fall after Labor Day), when river conditions might be different (faster currents in spring, beautiful foliage in fall), the resort may offer reduced rates on lodging or float trips to attract visitors during less busy times.
  • Holiday Specials: Keep an eye out for potential special packages or events around major holidays, which might include unique activities or bundled offers.

For the most current information on any promotions, packages, or loyalty programs, it is highly recommended to visit the official Huzzah Valley Resort website (https://huzzahvalley.com/) or contact their reservations team directly. We stayed in the otter cabin. It was awesome. They are pet friendly. We had a view of the river on our back deck. It was fully furnished with everything needed as in linen cooking utensils everything. I would definitely move there if I could. The staff is very friendly. Also very helpful. We arrived late at night and not knowing that the store was already closed. We called an emergency number and a gentleman was nice enough to come put us in a cabin anyways. I highly recommend them!

Huzzah Valley Resort is ran by absolutely wonderful people. We scheduled 3 nights in Cozy Cabin #2 for the last leg of our honeymoon week plus a float. The cabin is adorable! Super clean and smelled wonderful. As soon as we got the car unloaded, we received a phone call about a family emergency and needed to leave. Everything says "no refunds" but they refunded our full amount. As soon as we are able to return, we will be. Definitely recommend this lovely place.

Really nice place!! Kinda pricey, but i kinda get for being a larger campground. Staff was extremely helpful when it came to figuring out we didn't have power at our site. Fixed within 20 minutes of telling the office.

We floated the Huzzah in kayaks. We went on a Friday morning, and it was not crowded at all. The water is clear, especially when compared to the Merrimac. The country store at the resort is very large and well stocked. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We will go again.
