Customer Reviews
Hi-tide was nice. We went before the Memorial Day rush. A lot of things to do. Camp sites were nice, big enough! Other campers around were nice. The store had a great variety of things, went in and wanted to buy 9 ice creams for our group and a younger man was upset he had to ring us up...rolling eyes, telling another woman he was not on the clock. The women's restrooms were also very filthy - for this being "not busy" I was so surprised how dirty the restrooms were. I took videos because after complaining about the restrooms we were told "there wasn't anything wrong with them." I understand it is an out-house however, trash cans were over flowing, no paper towels, toilets were clogged - that is not okay. Also, I was not made aware at check-in or on the website that you have to pay for a shower ( I did not have any coins for that so that was unfortunate). Overall, stay was okay - we might come back for a day pass only not for a night. I hope the restrooms will be cleaner when it is busier.
The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. The park was clean. Atmosphere was awesome. We just had a blast. I will definitely coming back next year!!!!
Exceptional service with a smile. Always felt taken care of staff were so great and the entertainment was top-notch :-)
Our family had an amazing time at this campground! It’s the perfect destination for a family-friendly vacation, with something for everyone to enjoy. The water activities were an absolute hit with the kids. There’s no shortage of fun on the water! They even had organized games by the water, which made it all the more enjoyable for the entire family. For those who love a bit of friendly competition, there’s also a great area for games like bags (cornhole) which we loved playing as a family in the evenings. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Mary and Joe, the owners, who made our stay even more memorable! They truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Their personal touch and dedication to the campground really show. All in all, this campground provided the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we can’t wait to return!
Upon arrival we checked in and were told that we had to pay extra for 2 of the 4 adults staying in our camper. I don't mind paying this but when you call to make the reservation they should tell you how many people are included and how many pay extra. The campsites are so small that once you park your vehicle next to your camper(no room to leave it in front of it) you have barely any room left on your site. When you are trying to back into your spot you better hope the people camping across from you are at their site to move their vehicles otherwise you're not getting into it. The "Lake" is a stagnant pond, the water feels thick and doesn't look clean. The beach has garbage on it and there are chunks of glass, the garbage cans that are provided were overflowing by noon and trash was on the ground. The Bath house has 4 showers that require quarters and it's shared with the general public so good luck getting a shower. The bathroom and shower stalls are also hogged by the public to change in so you have to wait forever. The fire rings provided at the campsites are so rotted they are falling apart in pieces. Quiet time is 11pm, but even at midnight people have their music going and kids are running around screaming and playing. We arrived Friday evening and by Saturday at noon the dumpster in the campground was overflowing with trash on the ground and the smell was horrific. The pool had a safety handrail to grab when entering the water but it's broken so badly that it provides zero support, which would be a huge deal if the stairs weren't slimy and slippery. The water was cloudy and didn't seem to be from the chemicals because you couldn't smell any. The dump station is located at the exit making it difficult for anyone with a large camper to pull out when someone else is using the station. The septic also seemed to be seeping up through the ground and stunk horribly. The only positive was the way they do Bingo is fun for kids and adults alike. Our group made the best of it and had some fun, but out of 7 adults and 2 kids each person rated it a 2/10, would not return or recommend.
