As a general practice for many mobile home and RV parks, particularly smaller, locally-run establishments like Cannon Oaks Mobile & RV Park, specific promotions or special offers are not always widely advertised on public online platforms. Any incentives or unique deals are typically communicated directly by the park management to interested parties.
However, it is common within the industry for parks to offer certain types of discounts or flexible arrangements, especially for extended stays or during off-peak seasons. These might include:
-
Long-Term Stay Rates: It is highly probable that Cannon Oaks offers reduced rates for guests who commit to weekly, monthly, or seasonal stays compared to their nightly rates. This is a standard practice to encourage longer occupancy and provides significant savings for those planning extended visits or considering a permanent move.
-
Seasonal Discounts: Florida's RV and mobile home parks often adjust their pricing based on demand. During the slower summer months or specific off-peak periods, the park might offer lower rates to attract more visitors.
-
New Resident Incentives: Occasionally, for mobile home lots or long-term RV sites, a park might offer a small incentive to new residents, such as a reduced first month's rent or a credit towards utilities, though this is less common for transient RV stays.

Cannon Oaks Mobile & RV Park offers a compelling proposition for Floridians, whether they are seeking a new permanent home, a seasonal retreat, or a convenient base for their RV adventures. Its suitability for locals stems from a combination of its practical benefits, community atmosphere, and prime location within Florida's natural landscape.
Firstly, for many Floridians, especially those looking for affordable living options, manufactured homes within a mobile home park provide an excellent alternative to traditional housing. Cannon Oaks offers this accessibility, allowing residents to enjoy homeownership in a well-maintained community at a more manageable cost. For RV owners, the park’s comprehensive hookups and capacity for large rigs make it a hassle-free choice for both short-term getaways and extended stays. The availability of long-term RV sites is particularly appealing to "snowbirds" from northern Florida or those who prefer to stay put for a season, seeking a consistent, reliable base without the commitment of traditional homeownership.
Secondly, the community aspect of Cannon Oaks is a significant draw. While reviews highlight positive interactions with the owner, the very nature of a mobile home and RV park fosters a sense of camaraderie. Residents often form close-knit bonds, sharing common interests in outdoor activities, local exploration, and the laid-back Florida lifestyle. This creates a supportive and friendly environment, which is invaluable for those looking to connect with like-minded individuals in their local area. The park's natural setting, with its mature oak and cedar trees, contributes to a peaceful atmosphere, providing a true retreat from the everyday hustle.
Finally, Cannon Oaks' location in Inglis is ideally suited for Floridians who cherish the state's natural beauty and abundant recreational opportunities. Being situated on the Nature Coast means direct access to world-class freshwater fishing on the Withlacoochee River and Lake Rousseau, as well as opportunities for kayaking, boating, and exploring the numerous springs and preserves that dot the region. For locals, this means less travel time to their favorite outdoor pursuits and more time enjoying the unique ecosystems of Florida. The small-town charm of Inglis also provides a genuine "Old Florida" experience, offering a quieter pace of life while still being within reach of necessary amenities in larger nearby towns.
In summary, Cannon Oaks Mobile & RV Park is a practical, community-focused, and naturally appealing choice for Floridians. It offers affordable living and flexible RV accommodations in a serene setting, perfectly positioned for enjoying the outdoor activities that define the Florida lifestyle. For those seeking a friendly community and a connection to the authentic beauty of the Nature Coast, Cannon Oaks stands out as a highly suitable option.
Customer Reviews
I have no idea what location these pictures are from or where the map location is because, this isn't the Cannon Oaks Mobile home park I know right across the road from my house. I'm unaware of a mobile home park of the same name in the city limits of Inglis.
Great place to stay! Owner is very sweet person to work with
I wouldn't have anybody count my reveiw because I am one of the people which do work for the owner every once in a while.
Nice little campground. Not on Google maps...It wants to turn you into the woods to the right at a gated entry cattle fence, about a mile before the entrance on the left.
nice place to stay or visit
