The focus here seems to be on providing essential amenities in a clean and accessible setting, allowing visitors to enjoy their stay without unnecessary frills. The park's commitment to ongoing improvements, as noted by recent visitors, also suggests a dedication to enhancing the guest experience.

It may be small but it's a perfect little camp spot for RVs, it's not far from town and it's just up the road from the lake, the owners and some volunteers are cleaning up the place and it's coming together really nicely! They even have washer and dryers on the spot along with electric, dump site, and dumpsters all in easy walking distance from the sites. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the area
Such a beautiful place to stay. About a half dozen sites, nice laundry and shower house. Sadly, the Park Manager was an ignorant foul mouth drunk. That thought she was god's gift to mankind. Apparently the owners are not aware of the type person they have running the place or don't care. I was there for a week last November on a job. Between her drunkeness it's really was a beautiful little Parkevery night and practically wearing nothing inviting me to her camper. I was glad when it was time to leave. In March, I again had to return to the area. I called to make reservations, but when I realized she was still there. I went elsewhere. Maybe someday they will get a decent person to represent the park.
Lake view is a nice campground and owners are awesome. I was broke down while traveling to Branson and the owner allowed me to leave my camper at campground free of charge for a week. Of course I was not parked in a site and not connected to electricity. But the owner is very generous and helpful in my situation. I would definitely recommend this campground if you need a place to stay in Monticello. This is a nice little campground with awesome owners.
Home away from home everyone is treated like family. If you are traveling or working away from home this is the place to be. Nice shady lots, on site laundry. There are cook outs that everyone us welcome to attend. The hard part is having to leave.
well I have not stayed here .....but I called I looked at the reviews and I was so excited .I was looking for somewhere to have a quiet little birthday party, for my very well behaved almost 2 year old with a total of 4 adults and 4 children (also well behaved )and babies I might add....I was told that they didn't have children there and that her tenants probably wouldn't like that .so me and my family will not be going here even if they change there rules on children ...
