For Texans, particularly those seeking an RV park in Central Texas that prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and community, Lucky's RV Park, especially under its new management, presents a compelling option. The most significant factor for local suitability lies in the dramatic positive shift in management and park conditions, as articulated by long-term residents. The consistent praise for the "new management team" for being "amazing," "very friendly, professional, understanding," and genuinely making residents "feel like I'm part of the family" resonates deeply with the Texan value of hospitality and strong community ties.
The emphasis on the park being "cleaned up of all the tenants that did not belong" directly addresses a common concern for long-term residents in any community – ensuring a safe and respectful environment. The explicit mention of it being a "very clean, safe place to raise a family" speaks directly to the needs of local families, providing peace of mind for parents. The commitment to "very clean laundry and shower facilities" and "very well kept grounds" ensures that essential living amenities meet high standards, which is crucial for those making an RV park their home.
While some past issues with amenities were noted, the active, hands-on approach of the new management in rectifying these problems and ensuring compliance with basic expectations for RV parks in Texas demonstrates a genuine dedication to improving the resident experience. The bilingual management further enhances its suitability for Central Texas's diverse population. For Texans who value a well-managed, secure, and progressively improving environment, and who are willing to give a new team a chance to truly shine, Lucky's RV Park offers a promising and increasingly desirable place to call home.
Customer Reviews
I have been at Lucky's for almost 15 years and let me tell you since the new management has taken over this park has finally received the attention it has needed. when you are at Lucky's you should all feel like family well I did not when I would come into the office I felt like a perfect stranger. And I was there way before the last managers. I do remember one time as I was walking up to come into the office the last manager was talking very rude about someone and as soon as I walked in I was greeted very cold as I interrupted the conversation I felt very unwelcome more than one time. The new management team are amazing. When I go into the office I'm always greeted with a smile and I feel like I'm part of the family. I'm so happy that the park is cleaned up of all the tenants that did not belong. I believe people need to give the new management a break as they have only been there a short time to clean up all the mess that was left behind from the last managers. I will say that the new management is very friendly, professional, understanding, I would highly recommend Lucky's Rv Park. It is a very clean, safe place to raise a family. AMAZING STAFF. Very clean laundry and shower facilities very well kept grounds.
I lived there for 6 years and it was a very nice community amongst those who live there long term and short term. Now there's new management, and I'm not going to exaggerate or sugarcoat it. The new owner / management harass the tenants, make illegal threats, with things such as moving their trailers, which would be illegal without an eviction, make threats about throwing or disposing of things that you have outside like and things that belong outside like barbecue pits, potted plants and generators. The new owner and his new manager the owner now hired rides around the RV park at all hours bird dogging each lot, picking on the tenants as though it's some form of a childish game amongst the new management. What once was a decent place with very decent folks as neighbors, is now owned and run by a money hungry individual that is charging outrageous prices for a very out-of-date RV park with no amenities (no play ground, pool, dog poo ark, walking trails or things you would expect to see in a RV park or trailer park), what you get is a very run-down laundry room with three or four washers some not working most of the time and three or four dryers that never work and they just take your money, with 1, sometimes working shower; when everybody has to go to work they've doubled up in their RV and that 1 shower has a line of 2-5 individuals who work early lined up by 6 am when the facility finally opens to be e used by tensents. Penal code for RV parks in the state of Texas mandates that a RV parks must have for every 50 units occupied a number of 2 (one for each gender ( but does not have to be gender asigned) restrooms which must include a shower that has proper ceiling ventilation and dressing space, a certain amount of distance on each side of the RV parking pad between RVs, paved parking pad for your RV, proper road that does not have any potholes to which can hold water at any time, a certain amount of washers and dryers that are made 24-hour access for a certain number of occupied sides, and proper 24-hour access to your mail if you are permanent resident. Luckys is the only place I have ever seen or heard that you couldn't get your mail when you wanted to. It gets worse though, it went as bad as the manager calling me and letting me know, my husband got his bank card as if that was anybody else's business to begin with. Lucky's does not offer the state adequate accommodations especially for their "new" prices which went from $450 all bills included monthly to over $700 in just a few months, it's beyond outrageous for what they're expecting you to live with. When it was really cheap rent, the neighbors were all close and we all help each other out like, we were a good community now they've run off a lot of really good individuals and it's really just turned into crap. I don't recommend it. Go to Bel Air by bucess it would be what you would expect from a well managed RV park, that is up to code. Until Lucky's RV park and their management can really step it up and get their shit together and bring that RV park up to code it is not worth it even for those who are desperate.
Owners have harassed my friends repeatedly for “violations” to rules that were newly implemented and caused more harm than good to the residents to the park. New owners came in and tore up the foundation of the previous managers of the park without providing grace and understanding to the many disgruntled and rightfully upset residents of the park. Forcing residents to pay pet fees for pets that reside in their own, personal campers. Forcing people to remove sheds and outside lawn arrangements, along with generators. Any intention of making the park “look better” put many of residents in the position of losing their personal belongings and not having a say in how they decorate their paid spot. My friends are very LUCKY to not have to deal with this management any longer and no longer have to feel like anyone is watching their every move. Managements responses to residents and past residents shows a lack of accountability and willingness to understand frustration and concern their actions created. Probably best to avoid this park if you don’t want every aspect of your life monitored and critiqued.
After new management took over, this place went so downhill. Harassing tenants, making up new rules on the fly because they feel like it. They read these reviews and always respond with accusations of calling you a liar like it's a pattern. These people are money hungry and will go out of the way to make sure your stay is miserable while they put on a show of being family oriented and friendly. Police were there constantly for one reason or another including management. Don't say here if you care about your sanity. Looks nice on paper til you get there. If you do end up here, don't trust them with your mail either. They will lose it.
I have stayed at Lucky's RV Park before management was very rude and the grounds were terrible and the people we're very rude I always thought when you stay at a park it's everybody should help everybody I have never seen a park ever ran like that before. Recently I had a friend that stayed there and they told me that it completely changed that the old managers were not there anymore and that they had new management they said they were treated very kind and professional and the grounds look amazing and all the old tenants were gone if I ever had to stay at a place again I would stay at Lucky's RV park because those old managers are gone and now I feel like I would not be judged.
