We have stayed here 3 times now. Been good each time. My only complaint is temp set at 60 in the bathrooms makes for cold showers and the need for a ton of paper signs telling people what not to do.

WOW!! We were in town for our daughters 10u travel softball team, exactly 1.7 miles away from the park, We were very skeptical on staying here per other reviews but this place is amazing!!! Friendly yearly spot owners, lots of activities for youth, we were able to snag a last minute full hook up- our friends were not but we made it work :) Beautiful grounds, CLEAN bathrooms/ showers - awesome trails to walk - lake is walking distance, WIFI for our smart TVs, the Ministries has a HUGE campus and the campgrounds are near the end of it (almost out of sight out of mind). If/when she plays in the crown point area again we will definitely be back! **Pic is the sunrise Sunday from the campgrounds!

Enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lake Ministries RV Park very much. The park is small about 30 or so sites. Most all sites are a good size and pretty level. Didnt use the bathhouse so i cannot comment on that. There is a commuter train that runs by several times a day/night but you get used to it. Overall it is very quiet. There are wonderful nature trails off the large field and a short walk to the main buildings and lake as well. Everyone was pleasant and very friendly from guests to staff. I would give it 5 stars if they had a better booking method. Wanted to extend but they had a person coming in for 1 night in our site on Wednesday and another person staying 1 night in a different site and different night. They wouldnt combine those reservations on one site or the other. Both were the same size, etc. They would have made more money by combining the two reservations and adding ours but they don't do that sort of thing. The RV park gets very little attention compared to the rest of the facility grounds. The workers "cutting through" the park with their large trucks was annoying seeing how the sign says not a cut through. They are to lazy to drive around the corner to get back to their maintenance building. The smoking rules are not respected. Seeing the long term guests breaking them was upsetting and giving the park a bad reputation. We were happy to find someplace that was smoking free and they had to go and ruin a great thing. Overall we enjoyed our time visiting family in the area and would absolutely stay again. Already planning our trip next year.
