Northern Detour (formerly Poplar Point) is a terrific place, if you're able to spend the summer season in an RV or are looking for a place for a month. It's quiet and peaceful here right on the little Poplar lake. The new park owners are working to make the park even better that it already is. It's where many of the RV residents spent their summer year after year. Being close to the St. Croix River, Taylor Falls, St. Croix, and Interstate Park make it a really great area to stay in.
