Pine Bluff Campground is undeniably suitable for locals in Michigan, and here’s why. First and foremost, it offers an authentic taste of the Upper Peninsula, a region deeply ingrained in the identity of our state’s outdoor enthusiasts. For Michiganders, the appeal of a rustic campground like Pine Bluff is the chance to truly disconnect and experience nature without the frills of more commercial sites. We understand and appreciate the value of a campsite that might not have the most level ground or a log to sit on, because what it lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for in raw, unfiltered natural beauty and tranquility.

Site #1 wasn’t the most level ground, I kept sliding when sleeping, no log to sit on, but nice tree cover. Had a nice big fire in the pit, nice seats around shared fire pit, great neighbors.
Beautiful. You can walk down to Lake Superior and there is not another human in sight, like the entire lake belongs to you. Definitely rustic but you knew that already if you're considering this one, right? I haven't camped at another campground in Pictured Rocks but I was super pleased with this one.
Decent campsite if it's your only option. There are more beautiful places to camp, but not many are right along 12-mile Beach. Good spot to stay if you're looking for a sunset (from the beach).
Such a wonderful camp ground, great nature
