It’s known for its peaceful atmosphere and attentive management, aiming to make every resident and guest feel at home. Whether you're looking to downsize, find an affordable coastal living option, or secure a long-term spot for your RV in a scenic location, Silver Creek Landing invites you to discover its unique charm and potential.

Silver Creek Landing is perfectly situated at 628 Wetherington Landing Rd, Stella, NC 28582, USA. This prime location places it in Stella, a charming community in Jones County, North Carolina, renowned for its proximity to the stunning Crystal Coast. While Stella offers a quieter, more rural feel, it's strategically positioned to provide convenient access to the vibrant coastal towns and attractions of Carteret County and Onslow County.

Its location near the water, likely with access to Silver Creek which connects to the White Oak River and eventually to the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and Bogue Sound, is a significant draw. This offers residents and guests easy access to boating, fishing, and other water-based activities that are synonymous with North Carolina's coastal lifestyle. Major thoroughfares such as US-17 are easily accessible, ensuring straightforward travel to nearby cities like Jacksonville (to the west) and Morehead City or Havelock (to the east). This makes Silver Creek Landing an ideal base for exploring the diverse offerings of the region, from the pristine beaches of Emerald Isle and Swansboro to the military installations and local historical sites. The accessibility allows for a peaceful daily life while keeping the broader coastal North Carolina experience within easy reach for all locals.

Silver Creek Landing, as a combination of a manufactured home community and an RV park, offers a range of services tailored to long-term residents and guests.

  • Manufactured Home Lots for Rent: The park provides lots for manufactured homes, allowing residents to place their homes and enjoy a stable, long-term living arrangement in a desirable coastal location. This is a primary service for those seeking an alternative to traditional housing.

  • RV Sites for Long-Term Stays: Silver Creek Landing caters to RV enthusiasts looking for extended stays, offering dedicated RV sites. This is ideal for snowbirds, temporary workers, or individuals desiring a semi-permanent coastal base.

  • Full Hookups (Implied): For both manufactured homes and RV sites, the provision of full hookups (water, sewer, and electric) is standard. This ensures convenience and comfort for residents, allowing them to fully utilize their amenities.

  • On-site Management/Availability: Reviews highlight the responsiveness and availability of Mr. McNeil, suggesting attentive on-site or readily accessible management. This service is crucial for addressing resident questions, concerns, and ensuring smooth community operations.

  • Well-Maintained Environment: The tranquil and positive atmosphere described by residents implies a commitment to maintaining the park’s appearance and infrastructure, contributing to a pleasant living experience.

Silver Creek Landing stands out with several features and highlights that make it a cherished home for its residents and an attractive destination for long-term RVers.

  • Tranquil Coastal Setting: The most compelling feature is its peaceful and tranquil location. Situated near Silver Creek and the broader coastal waterways, it offers residents a calm environment away from the hustle and bustle, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature.

  • Community Feel: Reviews consistently describe a strong sense of community, with residents feeling "blessed to call SCL home." This indicates a supportive and friendly atmosphere where neighbors know and look out for each other, which is highly valued in residential living.

  • Access to Water: While not explicitly stated as a direct boat ramp, the name "Landing" and coastal location strongly suggest direct or very easy access to Silver Creek and potentially the White Oak River. This is a huge draw for those who enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, or simply living by the water.

  • Dedicated Management: The positive mention of "Mr. McNeil always available for any and all questions" highlights responsive and caring management. This personal touch fosters trust and ensures resident needs are addressed promptly, contributing significantly to a positive living experience.

  • Long-Term Living Focus: The park appears to cater primarily to long-term residents, fostering stability and a more permanent sense of home, rather than a transient campground atmosphere.

  • Proximity to Crystal Coast Attractions: While serene, its location in Stella provides relatively easy access to the stunning beaches of the Crystal Coast, including Emerald Isle, Swansboro, and other popular destinations for recreation and tourism in coastal North Carolina.

  • Affordable Coastal Option: For many North Carolinians, finding an affordable living option near the coast can be challenging. Silver Creek Landing offers a viable solution for those seeking coastal life without the premium price tag of traditional waterfront properties.

As a community that appears to focus on long-term residents and extended stays for RVs, Silver Creek Landing's "promotions" are likely embedded in its competitive long-term rates and the value it offers. Direct promotions such as seasonal discounts are less common for such communities, but the inherent benefits are significant.

  • Consistent Value: The primary "offer" is the consistent value provided by affordable lot rents for manufactured homes and potentially attractive rates for long-term RV site rentals, especially when compared to the cost of living in other coastal areas of North Carolina.

  • Stability for Long-Term Residents: For those seeking a permanent or semi-permanent coastal base, the park offers stability in terms of availability and a consistent community environment.

  • No Information on Short-Term Specials: Public information does not indicate specific short-term camping rates or promotional offers for transient stays, suggesting its primary focus is on longer-term residents. It is always recommended to inquire directly for the most current pricing and any potential incentives for new residents or long-term commitments.

Sooner or later your learning potential should flower and grow at an acceptable pace, even if an evident problem with a substantiated vocabulary might continue to dwell indefinitely.
