It's beyond an amazing place to set your stablizers down, stretch your legs and fire up the grill...Multiple sites nestled in the trees not crammed together most offer power and water, 10 are full hookups and they're getting ready to get a few more with dumping abilities to make them full hookups...There are also multiple places to just park and sleep or put up a tent...At the entrance there is a water station...They recently put in 3 toilets up by the stage. The 2 showers I was intimidated by with no shower curtain until I actually tried them and the showers are AMAZING...hot water on demand no nasty shower curtain tons of hooks and a pole to hang all your stuff up to leave the wooden bench free to use and a 3 teir corner tray for soap and other shower necessities...The water pressure is amazing...The covered stage is HUGE...it would be neat to go back and hear a band camping and practicing in the great outdoors in solitude collaborating with one another...Hunters and nature lovers would enjoy the deer and wild turkeys walking thru the park...There are so many different birds...I stayed for a few months all alone...The Gap needs people to appreciate it for its raw beauty of Alabama and ride the trails or walk them...It is a mind blowing experience to see everything on the trails...It's not just for bikers...It's for anyone that enjoys showing up to camp prepared and ready to put your feet up and enjoy your surroundings. Just adding a few pics and 1 video tonight...Will share more later...
