Customer Reviews
I car camped here in late March 2021. I had the place to myself and got to capture the Milky Way over the wind turbines. It was very enjoyable.
This is a pretty nice place. Has free camping and a outhouse. No electricity no water very basic very primitive. If you are coming to hunt deer you better be in shape. Very thick timbers and heavily vegetated swamp areas with thick cattails and grasses.
Great wee spot for an overnight camp! Water available, clean toilets, well maintained lawn, picnic tables and fire pits available too!
Lights on the horizon obscure the Milky Way, but when it's higher it may be visible with the eye. Higher up thousands of stars.
This is a great dark sky site. Far enough away from the city lights but close enough to home.
