Lovely grounds, beautiful river, incredible owners, friendly campers. People complaining is par for the course; with so many unique personalities. The owners give their all during and off season to make the seasons fun, relaxing and easy. It's a family oriented establishment, there's tons of fun to be had, so make it! If you're a generally unhappy or unpleasant individual, your issue most certainly isn't the campground, it's a you problem. I would and have, recommended this place to many people. I look forward to every opening season and am very thankful for all of the effort; time; money; blood; sweat and many tears, im positive have been put into this place! I love it here and my family loves it too! Thank you gro, for allowing us to take part in enjoying the magical land and continued effort you all put into making the place what it is. YOU ARE SEEN AND APPRECIATED ❤️

We have been coming to this place for the 5 to 7 years. My personal opinion is that this place is starting to decline. While there are improvements being made to the facilities, there are very limited employees there during the week. The weekend has limited activities for kids, the smaller pool was very cloudy and not very clean, an employee who drove past the garbage in front of our site and told us that garbage pickup doesn't happen until Friday (which wasn't told to us) and then didn't offer to take the 1 bag on his cart, hours reflected for the store are different than what their app says and not very friendly times for check in. I know alot has happened within the past 2 years but I feel like there is alot of reactionary measures vs. proactive measures. Rentable campers are damaged, multiple lights out. I really hope for the best for this family with their continued improvements.

I’m am writing this in response to Green River Oaks response to my husband Wes Phillip’s review. We can understand having to shock a pool and it’s great you have another, however as far as it being heated, it was most certainly not, as you can see by similar posts from other individuals. Interestingly we were in our camper all Friday night, because there wasn’t much else to do considering the deep pool was too cold and might I also add dirty. We couldn’t ride bikes because they either had flat tires and or no breaks. I even overheard children complaining about them, sure they are free but if you can’t use them who cares how free they are, and we picked up each of us a handful of them to try and they were all in awful shape. Lastly, we might have tried to play pickleball if it wasn’t set aside for the next day’s events. Your web sight claims that you have all these amenities and we were let down in every situation. So yes, we were in our camper all Friday night all you had to do was knock. Lastly my husband didn’t have this in his review but the bathroom and shower house closest to us was in severe need of cleaning, the trash can was full, and needed to be swept and mopped. I figured someone would at least get to it by later evening but we were up early to leave Saturday morning and it still had not been attended to. So I would never wish to camp there again and we gave you 80.00 dollars of hard earned money for the 2 nights we decided were not worth staying for and I’m not a person to waste money.
