Location and Accessibility

Trails End Outdoors RV Park & Cabins is located at 163 Willis Rd, Interlachen, FL 32148, USA. This address places the park in Interlachen, a community in Putnam County, Florida. Interlachen is part of a region characterized by its numerous lakes, tranquil rural settings, and proximity to larger natural areas, offering a true "Old Florida" experience.

The accessibility of Trails End Outdoors is generally good for campers traveling from various parts of Florida. While Interlachen is a smaller, more rural community, the park is described as being "15 minutes West of Palatka on State Road 20" and "45 minutes East of Gainesville." This positioning makes it a convenient drive from larger population centers in North and Central Florida, including cities like Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Ocala. State Road 20 is a well-maintained route, facilitating smooth travel for RVs and vehicles towing trailers.

Upon arrival, access to the park itself involves heading "north on Willis Road and follow a series of quick turns and curves on this slow-moving jagged gravel road." However, the reviews assure that the park's staff has "cunningly placed a sign to guide you along your way at any single point that you might drive in the wrong" direction, indicating attentive management to ensure a smooth arrival despite the rural road conditions. The relatively secluded setting contributes to the "peacefulness of the campsite," offering a quiet retreat away from heavy traffic and urban noise. The numerous lakes in the Interlachen area provide additional opportunities for water-based activities, enhancing the appeal of the location for outdoor enthusiasts.

These cabins typically include heat, air conditioning, and power. Some have "Partial Kitchen" facilities, while others offer "Kitchen and Bathroom." For those with partial kitchens, a "Community Restroom" is available nearby. The "Cowboy Cabin Lodge" and "The Boarding House" offer larger accommodations with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

  • On-Site Fishing: Fishing is available on a "small pond with its own pontoon boat," with a daily fee (e.g., $35 per day) for the activity.
  • Campfire Services: The park offers a "turn-key campfire set up (in 2 hour increments)," indicating a convenient service for those wanting to enjoy a traditional campfire experience. Firewood is also available as "fresh-cut wood" from "conjoined trees."
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: The park is welcoming to pets, with a designated "Dog Park" and general "Pet Friendly" policies.

Promotions or Special Offers

Specific, time-limited "promotions or special offers" for Trails End Outdoors RV Park & Cabins are not widely advertised in general public information beyond their standard pricing structure. • Competitive and Fair Pricing: Reviews indicate "a very fair price" for stays, suggesting that the regular rates already offer good value, especially considering the amenities and peaceful environment.
