I stumbled upon this campsite looking for a place to stay with my husband and 4 boys. I was not disappointed at all! I had booked a spot sight unseen and Linda, the owner, actually moved us to the spot next to the one I chose bc it had was more room for all of us! (She did give us the option of staying at the original site, but we declined) We had 2 tents bc well my teenagers don't want to share a tent with us! Lol, we never would have fit at the other site. The bathrooms were very well kept, my boys loved the rec room, and it was just so nice overall. We were next to the stream, and my boys went fishing every day we were there. Even caught a couple trout. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area!

This place is great! Our fraternity has been having our annual summer get together here for the last four years and we love it. Beautiful campsites, some with electric and many without. Clean restrooms with showers. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but you’re not. Try it out for a weekend!

We can't say enough good things about Bald Eagle Campsite! We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and it was amazing. The campgrounds are beautiful and well maintained, we reserved site 21 which was nestled right on the creek that runs through the grounds. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves at the site and allowed enough space to put up a 4 person tent, 2 hammocks, our camp chairs and there was still enough space for our dog to play. We were able to buy firewood (such a good deal $5 for a generous bundle!) and our site had a table and fire pit available for us to use. Looking forward to staying here when going up to State College for Penn State games and other activities, it's only about a 15-20 min drive straight up the highway. I am so glad we found this location and can't wait to visit again!
