Customer Reviews
This is my first time here. There are not many areas for tent camping. The bath house is still under construction. However with this being said I've enjoyed my week here tent camping. It is very quiet and peaceful here, giving you time to think about things of you need to. Even though there were a lot of campers here it was quiet. All the horses here were amazing. I didnt ride this time, but I have walked around a lot and seen them. I do want to say congratulations to the bear branch family, they had a baby foul born while I was here. She's beautiful. If you're not one wanting to be on your phone while you're here great, the service is sketchy (at&t at least). I've enjoyed disconnecting from the modern day technology.
Didn't stay there yet. We were gonna stay there for 25th anniversary. We actually never got a honeymoon. We was gonna make it our honeymoon, but when we got there to run a cabin, there was only one left that was our own fault for not realizing, it was hunting season. So can't tell you my experience of the place yet. But obviously they're a good place because they were jam-packed full. Out of over a 100 cabins, they only had one left so I say the place is probably good like I said, I can't. Save for sure yet. But as soon as I get a chance too I will stay there and then I will let my followers know
I had a great experience on my riding tour with Tannette. It was a good weather day and Charlie, my horse for the day, was a good boy. Tannette was very laid back and made me feel comfortable as I’m not an expert with horses…dabbled some. The trails went deep into the woods and it was absolutely beautiful. Lunch at Eddy’s was great! The trip I chose, was to ride back to barn after we ate. I was very sore and asked if she could get the horses trailered back. Tannette very graciously honored my request. Thank you for an awesome time!
Jessicka had the Idea to go Horseback Riding n So we did. Had a very Memorable time here all around good times😄🤚
Bear Branch Campground was actually really cool. The RV sites had full hookups and the grounds were kept pretty clean. We showed up and the grass hadn't been mowed on our sites but within the first day they had it mowed and were very accommodating whenever we had questions about the property or attractions in the surrounding areas. This place is unlike a lot of other campgrounds because they have a bunch of horses that live on site and they offer trail rides for anyone interested. Just a word of advice with all the house activity, watch out for road apples. Bottom line, this is a neat place and we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a faculty near Garden of the Gods in Illinois. And if we find ourselves in the area, we'll call there again in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work Bear Branch!
