Customer Reviews
Great park for day use or camping. Nice boat ramp, playground and amenities. Clean, heated bathrooms with shower. Dump station free for paid campers and only $5 for others. Picnic tables and fire rings in good condition. Grounds are spacious and clean. Closing October 10th for the 2022 season.
Our ATV club stayed in the upper campsite. I was told there were 8 sites, but we only found 7 hook-ups. I made reservations 6 months prior, but there was nothing posted on each site that they were reserved. I was told we had the entire upper campsite, but when we arrived two sites were already filled. We made it work by doubling up on a couple sites. It was basically a first come first serve Campground with 20 amp service. Tip: The men’s restroom is where the electric needs to be reset if you trip the breaker. Awesome price $15.00 nt, close walk to the beach. My kids loved the beach, and playground. Really nice fishing pier as well. It was great that the campground was on the ATV trail, so we could ride out from the campsite. Two nice pavilions for gatherings located in the upper campground.
Absolutely love it here!! Beautiful area with a play ground and beach area. You can fish off the pier area and launch your boat on the nice boat landing! Really nice campsites with updated electric, water and indoor showers and bathrooms! Highly recommend this place! Check it out!
Stayed 5 nights. Great affordable location for Porcupine Mts excursions. Solid Verizon signal! A gem of your not looking for cushie camping. Basic amenities.
If you're really really into fishing and don't mind concrete bunkers for washrooms this is an okay park. For anybody else avoid this park! The smell of either fish cleaning or the maggots in the dumpster was overwhelming. The washrooms although cleanish were full of bugs and shared by anyone using the public ballpark. If it rains the sites can be very muddy.
