Favorite campground around. Best showers I've ever been to- always clean, immaculate, and has everything you could ask for including family bathrooms. Wood for sale on site, but a bit pricey like everywhere. 20-25 dollars to camp per night. Stations with potable and non-potable water as well as many electric sites. Lots of places to walk around, explore, and even playgrounds for kids. Also handicap accessible park benches and there's always campground hosts around. Great park!!!
I joined some friends camping here over a weekend. Facilities are good for the most part. The park has always been a good place to visit. But there is a problem with noise. Noise from highway 13. Noise from trucks with loud exhaust coming and going at all hours of the night. And on my particular weekend, noise from a very immature young man and his girlfriends with the car stereo and subwoofer that I could hear from 15 campsites away. A friend whose RV was parked closest said it was making his RV vibrate. Now the camp host had an RV as close to the offending campers as my campsite was, but when I knocked on his door at 2:30 in the morning, he said he had only just then called the sheriff. So I guess park rules about noise, and about gates being closed at certain times are optional? Anyhow, not a quiet restful weekend.
Good place for family friendly camping. C section has a lot more shade. Decent fishing but River levels are so low from lack or rain and the damn being replaced. Fun to see the Elk enclosure.
Great place to camp. Large spots and very clean.
I used to love camping here unfortunately this last weekend I was disappointed. We tent camped in the loop c area and we had a large branch fall on our tent. There was no storm or high winds that day. Thank god it didn't happen when we were sleeping the night before. I would have thought they would keep better care of the trees around the area people camped. We paid for that night but since we had no tent we didn't stay. We didn't even get reimbursed for that night we didn't stay. We got told it's an act of nature 🥺 I get that to a certain degree.
