Nestled within the highly acclaimed Peninsula State Park, Weborg Point offers a unique blend of intimate camping and convenient access to one of our state's most beloved natural and cultural destinations. This isn't just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent; it's a prime launching pad for exploring the best of Door County, all while enjoying a peaceful, private setting.
What sets Weborg Point apart, and why it's so appealing to Wisconsin locals, is its more exclusive feel. With only a dozen or so sites, it provides a quieter, more private camping experience compared to some of the larger, busier campgrounds in the park. Imagine waking up to the sounds of nature, with the potential for stunning waterfront views right outside your camper door. Recent upgrades, including a brand-new bathroom facility with showers and an impressive 4-lane dump station, significantly enhance the comfort and convenience of your stay, proving that even serene spots can offer modern amenities.
Wisconsinites appreciate direct access to nature's beauty and well-maintained facilities, and Weborg Point delivers on both counts. Its strategic location within Peninsula State Park means you're just steps away from scenic trails, fishing opportunities, and breathtaking views of Green Bay, all while being a short drive from the charming shops, restaurants, and attractions of Fish Creek. It's the perfect balance for those who want to immerse themselves in Door County's natural splendor while having comfortable services readily available.

Critically, it is located within the boundaries of Peninsula State Park, one of Wisconsin's crown jewel state parks. This placement offers campers unparalleled access to the park's extensive recreational opportunities and its stunning Door County scenery.
The campground's address places it conveniently near the Fish Creek entrance of Peninsula State Park. This provides relatively easy access for Wisconsin residents traveling from various parts of the state, with well-maintained state highways leading directly into Door County. Once inside the park, Weborg Point is often described as being near the entrance, making it one of the first campgrounds visitors encounter. Its small size, with only about a dozen sites, contributes to a less congested entrance and exit, as noted by visitors who appreciate the efficiency of the new dump station system.
While the exact "Unnamed Road" might seem vague, in practice, navigation within Peninsula State Park is well-signed. Visitors arriving will find clear directions to Weborg Point. Its proximity to the town of Fish Creek also means that campers have easy access to groceries, restaurants, unique shops, and cultural attractions just a short drive outside the park gates, blending a peaceful camping experience with urban conveniences. This combination of natural beauty, park access, and nearby town amenities makes Weborg Point a highly accessible and desirable destination for many Wisconsin residents.
- Electric Campsites: All 12 sites at Weborg Point Campground are equipped with electric hookups (30-amp), providing convenience for RV and trailer campers, as well as those using tents who appreciate power for devices or comfort items. This is a significant amenity for a state park campground.

- Picnic Tables and Fire Rings: Each campsite typically includes a picnic table for outdoor dining and a fire ring for campfires, cooking, and ambiance. Firewood can often be purchased on a limited basis from designated park locations like the Wood Yard on Bluff Road.
- Accessible Fishing Pier: West of the campground, there is a fully accessible concrete fishing pier. This provides a convenient and welcoming spot for campers of all abilities to enjoy fishing opportunities directly from Weborg Point.
- Reservable Shelter: A shelter located adjacent to the campground is available for reservation. This enclosed shelter is equipped with 30-amp electrical outlets, lights, and a fireplace, making it suitable for group gatherings, parties, or communal use in various weather conditions.
- Proximity to Park Amenities: While not directly within the campground, Weborg Point's location within Peninsula State Park means campers have easy access to other park amenities, including hiking and biking trails, additional picnic areas, and interpretive programs, all managed by the Wisconsin DNR.
- Intimate and Private Atmosphere: With only about a dozen sites, Weborg Point is Peninsula State Park's smallest campground, contributing to a more private, quiet, and less crowded camping experience. This is a significant highlight for campers seeking tranquility and a strong connection with nature.
- Waterfront Sites: The "outer ring" of campsites at Weborg Point are situated directly on the waterfront, offering stunning views of Green Bay. These coveted sites provide an unparalleled experience, allowing campers to enjoy the serene beauty of the water right from their campsite.
- Modern & Upgraded Facilities: The recent construction of a new bathroom with hot showers and the installation of an advanced 4-lane dump station are major highlights. These modern amenities provide a high level of comfort and convenience that might not be found in older or more rustic campgrounds, making the stay more enjoyable for all types of campers.
- Excellent Accessibility: The campground's location near the Fish Creek entrance of Peninsula State Park and the presence of accessible facilities (bathroom, fishing pier) make it a very accessible option for a wide range of visitors, including those with mobility considerations.

This means campers can easily access local restaurants (like Wild Tomato Pizzeria), shops, art galleries, and other Door County attractions, offering a perfect blend of outdoor adventure and cultural exploration.
- Stargazing Potential: Due to its position on the water and within a less developed part of the park, Weborg Point offers fantastic opportunities for stargazing on clear nights, away from the significant light pollution of urban areas.
As Weborg Point Campground is part of the Wisconsin State Park System, specific "promotions" or "special offers" in the commercial sense are generally not provided directly by the campground. Instead, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages fees and any applicable discounts across all state parks. However, for Wisconsin residents, there are established pricing structures and passes that offer excellent value for camping at Weborg Point and other state park facilities.
- Wisconsin State Park Vehicle Admission Sticker: This is the primary "promotion" for frequent visitors. A Wisconsin-registered vehicle with an annual admission sticker provides unlimited entry to all Wisconsin State Parks and Forests for the calendar year, significantly reducing daily entry fees. There are different rates for residents (annual and daily), residents aged 65 and older (discounted annual and daily), and non-residents. This pass is essential for entering Peninsula State Park and thus accessing Weborg Point Campground.
- Camping Fees: Camping fees for sites like those at Weborg Point are set by the DNR and are generally very competitive for the amenities and location offered. Fees typically vary by site type (e.g., electric) and season (peak vs. off-peak). While not a discount, the value for money at a location like Peninsula State Park is often considered a "special offer" in itself by many campers.
- Reservations: While not a discount, the ability to reserve sites up to 11 months in advance is a significant "benefit" for popular campgrounds like Weborg Point. This ensures Wisconsin locals can secure a spot in this highly sought-after area, especially for waterfront or electric sites, which often book up quickly.
- Off-Peak Season Camping: Although not a formal discount for Weborg Point specifically (as all sites are electric and may have a consistent rate), visiting during the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) can offer a more peaceful experience with fewer crowds. This can be seen as an informal "promotion" of a more tranquil camping environment.
For the most current and accurate information on camping fees, vehicle admission stickers, and reservation policies, Wisconsin residents should always consult the official Wisconsin DNR website (dnr.wisconsin.gov) or contact Peninsula State Park directly. Planning ahead and securing the necessary vehicle admission sticker are key to maximizing the value of your camping experience at Weborg Point.

Customer Reviews
Weborg Point was amazing. There's only about a dozen sites, with the outer ring being on the waterfront. They just built a new bathroom (with showers) which also has an attached room I assume is for renting for parties or whatnot. Plus, they just put in an amaizng new 4-lane full station/dump site with lots of space for queuing so the entrance/exits aren't blocked and to keep things moving along during check-in/out.
Only a few sites, more private, quiet, walk to a pier with great views.
I think this would be a beautiful place to go camping. My check her out to summer looks lovely.
Wonderful place to camp. Even had a cell signal, which was unexpected but appreciated.
The only complaint was the paths on the campsites to the water could be better
