Been here before. I love the place, under the Last Management. Switched this year. But really, the ladies in the office are why me and my 12 person group are going somewhere else. Talked to 1 woman, couldn't understand I wanted a specific spot. The next one I spoke to had a Huge attitude. I'd rather go somewhere else than be spoken to like that. I also find it funny how they wanted me to reserve and pay for Everyone who was coming (or might be, as plans change), when I come in with a giant family (uses 4 RV plots), and I Always sign in and pay when I arrive for that. Said it was "Too much paperwork".. Sounds like the employees are too lazy to do their job, in my opinion.

We reserved a cabin at the Silver Fox Lodge in Garrison's. Nice campground for RV, camper or tent camping. However, for what we paid a night I would expect a little more. These cabins are in dire need of renovation! The mildew smell was so bad we had to make a trip to the store for air fresheners. The small fridge was a rusted mess! And there were a couple spots on the floor where it felt like you would fall right through. I would be ashamed to rent these out! Also, the only outlet near the counter where you can use the hotplate, which has like a 12" cord, is under the counter by the floor. Thank goodness I brought extension cords! Also the lighting was very dim. Enjoyed our float immensely, and our daughter and son-in-law had their small camper, so their spot was nice. Also, the young people at the office were very nice and helpful. An older lady was there the next day, and she wasn't very nice. She was very snarky after she found out we switched our float from 6 to 10 miles. She said we weren't supposed to make any changes the Friday before. She should have taken that up with her employee instead of taking it out on paying customers.

We had planned on floating a couple hours farther south but that river (Jack's Fork) was closed due to flooding from storms during the trip down. I found Garrisons from a Google map search of other floating outfitters, and when I called they said the Marmec was open for floating. We were so excited our float trip was saved. The staff at Garrisons was so polite and accommodating. They worked with us on a plan for a 2 day float, even drew us a map! The facilities (showerhouse, campground, outdoor pool, store) were very well kept. The pool looked very clean and inviting, although we didn't set aside time to swim in it this trip. We are sure to return and share this wonderful experience with our kids. Thank you everyone at Garrisons for making our trip unforgettable.

The new owners are doing a fantastic job! You can tell the place was in need of some updating and repairs and they are working diligently to get things going smoothly. Margaret approach us and told us they were having intermittent issues with the showers , so if we had any problems to please come tell her asap so she could help us. They put on a great celebration for end of season customer appreciation weekend. Good food, a hay ride that some of my family members really enjoyed and a fireworks show that would rival some of the 4th shows in the area. We also enjoyed a great float and relaxing atmosphere throughout! The place is more rustic than some of the other big places in the area, but they're also smaller and friendlier. Thanks for all the hospitality and we will be back soon!

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Shower house was best I've seen at a campsite. Clean, stocked, no cobwebs or TP on the floor, no missing shower curtains or mats. My sister and I camped and then did a 2-day float. A nice fella on the staff drew us a map with suggestion where to camp on the bank. We overshot our take-out the next day and they came and picked us up in a boat! Not sure how feasible this would've been on a busy weekend but we did appreciate them going the extra mile or 10 for us.
