Camp Boji Seasonal RV Park About
For Iowans who cherish the open road and the freedom of RV travel, finding the perfect home base for a season of exploration is key. Camp Boji Seasonal RV Park, located in the heart of Arnolds Park, Iowa, offers just such a destination. Positioned in the vibrant Iowa Great Lakes region, this RV park is designed to be more than just a place to park your rig; it aims to be a seasonal community and a launchpad for enjoying all that Okoboji has to offer.
The concept of a "seasonal RV park" is particularly appealing to many Iowans. It allows for a more permanent or semi-permanent presence in a desired vacation area without the commitment of traditional homeownership. This type of park often fosters a strong sense of community among its residents, who return year after year, building friendships and shared experiences. Camp Boji fits this niche, focusing on those looking to spend extended periods enjoying the Okoboji lakes region.
Customer reviews offer a varied perspective on Camp Boji. One highly positive review highlights the park's ability to accommodate larger groups and provide a comfortable stay: "This place was amazing! Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, that was helpful. Really nice furnishings and a heated floor in the jacuzzi bathroom. Accommodated our large family reunion well. Only a mile from the good stuff in Arnolds Park. Will stay here again." This suggests that some accommodations, possibly rental units or communal facilities, are very well-appointed and conducive to family gatherings.
However, another review provides a contrasting view, particularly for those considering long-term or ownership options: "Looked at buying a camper with a lot.... campground is over crowded with nothing but an old rusty outdated play set. No parking for tenants or visitors. Lots are expensive for the size, seem money hungry." This feedback points to potential concerns regarding site density, recreational amenities for children, parking availability, and lot pricing. It's important to note that the positive review seems to describe a rental unit or specific facility, while the negative one refers to purchasing a lot and the overall campground environment.
For Iowans evaluating Camp Boji, it is crucial to consider these different perspectives. The park's strengths may lie in its modern amenities for certain units or communal spaces and its excellent location, while challenges might include potential overcrowding and the condition of some common facilities. Understanding these nuances will help prospective seasonal residents determine if Camp Boji aligns with their specific needs and expectations for an Okoboji RV experience.

We were offered 2 spots and the one we ended up with was in front of a propane tank and bathroom. We never felt welcome. They care more about the rental houses than the campround.
Fun little campground. Plenty of friendly families around. We've camped there for 3 years and really enjoy.
