As a county park campground, Sunday Lake Eddy Park Campground typically operates on a set fee schedule that provides consistent pricing for its various site types and amenities. While it may not run widespread, publicly advertised "promotions" in the same vein as a large commercial resort, county parks often provide value through their competitive pricing and may offer specific local initiatives or discounts.
Generally, the primary "special offer" for any Michigan resident utilizing a public campground is the overall affordability compared to private resorts, coupled with the natural amenities provided. Pricing for sites will vary based on hookup type (rustic, electric, full hookup) and whether the site is lakefront. It's always advisable to check the official Gogebic County Parks website or contact the park directly for the most current rate schedule.
County parks may also offer discounts for longer stays or for specific groups, such as senior citizens or veterans, although this would need to be confirmed directly with the park management. The review mentioning an accommodating host suggests that while official promotions might be limited, the park staff are often willing to work with campers in specific situations, which can be a valuable form of "special offer" in itself, as seen in the vehicle breakdown scenario. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any potential special rates, multi-night discounts, or group pricing, direct contact with the campground management is always recommended.

We were blessed with a lakefront site, where we stayed for four days. The park has a swimming beach, ball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, bike trails to town, kayak friendly lake, and resident bald eagles. The restrooms were clean and the quarter required for a shower was well worth it. We met so many friendly locals. This location is central to many scenic sites, and we will definitely return in the future.
Great spot! We had a vehicle break down on the Saturday of a long weekend, and called them in a minor panic. The host (I think his name was Jim?) was super nice and accommodating. The place was clean, all the amenities we needed, nice people, and we even had a lake spot. Wound up staying 3 nights until we could get an appointment to get our vehicle fixed. Kudos from Canada to Eddy Lake and Wakefield MI.
Friendly workers and great price! We tent camped and it was only $15 a night. There's showers (25 cents for 5 minutes) and public restrooms. You can buy ice and firewood at the office as well.
This spot is heaven. The campsite is clean and has a great feeling of safety. The restrooms are clean, and the showers are great. We will be back but for a longer stay next time.
Nice place with good lake views. Like many places with seasonal campers, many just leave after the weekend and leave their sites a complete mess. Should have better rules and enforcement on upkeep and things like obnoxious flashing lights. The park itself is nice. Bring a long hose if you want water hookup. Decent prices. We saw otters!
