we went to sign the papers for a home here and all of the management was extremely rude. One of them walked up to us and the first thing he did was scoff at us. If that is how they treat people while trying to make a sale, i can’t imagine how insufferable they would be after we were legally obligated to stay there. obviously we didn’t sign the papers and i suggest no one else does either.
Apr 07, 2025 · Alexandria EglyI have never regretted any decision more! I bought my mobile home in January of this year. They give you a 30 day warranty. Because there's no way you can find Everything in 30 days. My windows don't fit. Uh, drawers are falling out of the cabinets. It's just one thing after another. When I moved in only one outlet in the whole kitchen worked. They have fixed all but one and have told me for the last 2 months that they would be here to fix that one, and it still hasn't happened. One thing that I was very concerned about was the roof and if it was any good. Well, yeah, 45 days into it and my shingles are falling off, but they won't do anything about it because I'm past my 30 days. Don't get me started on the noise. I have construction across the street, guys at the end of the block that just moved in that revved, their engines night and day. And somebody that likes to drive by here park next door and blast their music in their truck, but they don't live anywhere near me!
Mar 29, 2025 · Rhonda AndersonStaying neutral on my rating because I am not a resident, I have only been a guest. The mobile home park seems to be ok but the clubhouse is another story. I have been there many times over the years. My most recent was for a baby shower. The clubhouse is in very poor condition and doesn't appear to have been well cleaned and maintained in years. The window blinds are in desperate need of replacement as well as the furniture. The sofa and chairs are the same ones that I believe have been there for well over 10 years. They are in terrible condition. I appreciate that the clubhouse is made available to residents and there guests but it really needs to be maintained.
Oct 22, 2018 · Darla BarnhartI'm not a resident, my daughter is. She bought a nice looking unit from them and about 7 months later she started having severe flooring problems. We looked over her contract and found out that the warranty had expired at 6 months and when we called the office for help, they basically said they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. So we bit the bullet and I decided that I would have to remove the flooring and replace all the subflooring by myself. There had been a water leak from the "new" hot water heater. I found a date written in sharpie marker from the last maintenance. It was dated 2012. I noticed a 5 gallon paint bucket that looked to be there to catch leaking water. It was full and I realized that they knew it was leaking and placed the bucket there and called it "fixed" The leak spread across the insulation and warped and softened the subflooring. It buckled then after a few weeks, it began to sag. Just today we decided to find out why the main bathroom shower wouldn't turn on. It only dribbled very slowly. I opened up the access panel and found the valves had been shut off. After monitoring the plumbing from beneath the trailer, I started to see leaking from the tub drain --they knowingly shut the valves off to hide their terrible lack of maintenance. I would warn everybody to stay away from Meadowood and its sister trailer park, Brittany Place at all costs. They're negligent, ill maintained and they only care about collecting rent or lot fees.
Dec 25, 2020 · Jason WoodStarted out great, but went bad quickly! They give eviction notices before rent is even due! Forbid you should fall behind on rent AT ALL and they threaten to have the sheriff throw you out in as little as 10 days late and will also refuse to accept tje late payment unless you pay the next month in advance along with the overpriced bs late Fee's! Also raised rent on us over 11% for us to renew our lease! I'll NEVER give them another dollar, or another chance!!!!!
