Promotions or Special Offers

Thousand Trails Gettysburg Farm operates as part of the broader Thousand Trails membership system. Therefore, specific "promotions" or "special offers" are typically tied into their membership packages rather than being standalone discounts offered directly by this individual campground. For Pennsylvania locals, the most significant "offer" is often the value provided through a Thousand Trails membership itself, which allows access to a network of campgrounds for a single annual fee.

Common benefits and potential "offers" for Thousand Trails members might include:

  • Membership Tiers: Various membership levels (e.g., Elite, Elite Encore, etc.) offer different benefits, such as longer stay limits, more reservation windows, or access to partner parks. These tiers effectively act as bundled offers for frequent campers.
  • Annual Pass Discounts: For non-members, Thousand Trails may offer an "Annual Camping Pass" that allows unlimited camping at their preserves for a yearly fee, which can be a significant saving for those planning multiple trips.
  • Referral Programs: Members might receive incentives for referring new members.
  • Seasonal Promotions: Occasionally, Thousand Trails as a whole network might run promotions on new memberships or upgrades during specific times of the year.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on membership benefits, annual passes, or any network-wide promotions that would apply to a stay at Thousand Trails Gettysburg Farm, Pennsylvania residents should visit the official Thousand Trails website or contact their sales department. While individual campgrounds rarely offer their own discounts, the value often comes from being part of the larger Thousand Trails system.

We recently stayed at Thousand Trails Gettysburg Farm and overall had a great experience. It’s a decent-sized Thousand Trails campground with back-in sites and plenty of trees. That said, the tree coverage can make it tricky to get a solid Starlink connection. They do offer campground WiFi, but it’s a paid service. The amenities are solid—there’s a playground, basketball courts, arcade area, mini golf, and a variety of friendly farm animals including horses, pigs, goats, and lambs. Our kids loved visiting the animals and playing outside. The park runs along a beautiful creek, which adds a peaceful atmosphere. It’s also a fantastic location for visiting the Gettysburg battlefield—only a short drive away. One downside was the laundry room. For the size of the campground, it’s pretty small. We had to wait several times for a machine to free up. And the biggest issue we faced: drainage. It rained a lot during our stay, and the campground quickly turned into a muddy mess. Water didn’t drain well at all, and many areas were flooded or swampy for days. Overall, we enjoyed our time—especially the animals and proximity to historic sites—but better drainage and expanded laundry facilities would really improve the experience.

I've been coming here for 28 plus years. I wish the store was open more than 1 day a week. Why don't the office staff pick up a couple shifts ? The petting zoo is little to be desired. In need of a complete over haul. No activities yo speak of anymore.
