Blue Ridge Ranch is truly a God-given slice of heaven! The sheer beauty of its 440 acres, nestled between majestic ridges with its pastures, ponds, trout streams, and waterfalls, is a testament to His glorious creation. It brought to mind Luke 12:48, where Jesus states, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” Blue Ridge Ranch wonderfully embodies this principle. They have been blessed with such breathtaking land and fantastic facilities – from diverse camping spots to a covered pavilion and commercial kitchen perfect for any gathering – and they are faithfully using it all to serve others. Knowing that every dollar spent here directly supports Hope for His Children and their youth programs makes any visit deeply rewarding. It’s inspiring to see them steward their resources – the land for farming, the beauty for restorative camps, and the facilities for community events – all to make a difference. "The Outpost" store is a delightful bonus, filled with local treasures and ranch goods. For a stunning getaway that also wonderfully reflects Christian values of service and stewardship, Blue Ridge Ranch is an unparalleled 5-star destination! We felt truly blessed by our time here and inspired by their mission.
This place is fantastic!!! The staff was incredible and the amenities for both adults and kids were plentiful. Fresh eggs daily, the teepee was great experience, and the tour of the property was fun, entertaining, and educational. We will be back (with more families) this fall. Great job Blue Ridge Ranch.
One of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever visited. Peaceful and well kept, full of wildlife and everything you might want to do outside is available. The service provided by the owners and staff is beyond anything we have ever experienced. They go above and beyond no matter the request, and make you feel like you are the only people they need to take care of. Go for a long weekend and stay for a week! One word description... unforgettable.
We moved from Colorado to North Carolina and thought we would not be able to find that remote camping feeling again. This place is it. It offers everything you could hope for. Ponds, hiking trails, teepees, RV and camper spots. We pulled our camper in, listened to frogs and a creek all night. It was wonderful. We got to meet one of the fabulous owners and dealt with the very friendly and helpful ranch hand. We bought the yummiest sausage and eggs to make for breakfast. We found our favorite NC camping place.
It is a very beautiful place without a doubt ... but they charge you for absolutely everything, my family and I rented 4 places to camp and we only used one to be closer together. They charge you for absolutely everything: showers, you cannot bring your own wood to burn, you can only burn what they sell you, to throw away each bag of garbage- they charge you for it. And you cant make a mistake because they have a very hostile way of telling you things. I also felt that the LGBT community is not welcomed. During a tour of the ranch, staff members were very clearly saying that God does not make mistakes when making girls and boys, equating humans to the animals on the farm and implying that only women with men and vice versa for the sake of “nature.”
