This is a great place to go if you want peace and quiet. The lake is down so it's not as easy to launch a boat but the property is full of trees and far away from the noisy roads. There's a convenience store five minutes away in either direction, and there are washers and dryers as well as showers on site if you don't have access to your own. Kayak and atv rentals available as well.

I had the same experience as Casey Moreland. I had booked an RV spot about a year ago for the eclipse. On March 1st, 2024, only about a month before the eclipse (and well after pretty much everything else was booked across the region in the path of the eclipse), I received an email stating that there was a recent change in ownership, and that my reservation type was "no longer available." I don't blame the manager, they were just the messenger. I did respond to the cancellation email asking if there was any way I could contact the new owners for additional information or to see if some arrangement could be made... no response.

Bluebonnet Blunder: Eclipse Dreams Dashed! WARNING TO ALL TRAVELERS! My experience with Bluebonnet Cove Casitas & RV Park was an absolute disaster. 10 months ago, I meticulously planned a trip to witness the once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse. Their cabin seemed the perfect spot, so I snagged a reservation. Fast forward 10 months, heart pounding with anticipation for the celestial event, only to be met with a bone-chilling email: reservation cancelled, refund issued. No explanation, no apology, just a slap in the face. This is beyond unacceptable. Here I was, travel arrangements made, time meticulously planned, all for Bluebonnet Cove to yank the rug out from under me at the absolute last minute. Apparently, their lack of communication and disregard for customer commitments is a recurring theme, judging by the mountain of negative reviews they've already accumulated. Do not trust Bluebonnet Cove with your vacation plans! They are unprofessional, unreliable, and will leave you scrambling at the worst possible moment. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere and avoid the eclipse-sized disappointment I had to endure. P.S. Is "livid" even a strong enough word? This is traveler betrayal at its finest!

We stayed one night in our Motor Home at this place. It was a very serene place. We enjoyed the evening sky. The lake is a long way from the bank but it is still accessible. Over all we are looking forward to our return trip there this weekend. Our son and some of the grand children are staying in a very nice cabin w a jacuzzi. I recommend this park . It is more than expected.
