Promotions or Special Offers

As an Army Corps of Engineers (COE) campground, Brooken Cove Recreational Area typically operates with fixed, affordable pricing rather than frequent promotional discounts. The "great prices" are inherent to its operating model, making it a value-oriented choice consistently. Based on available public data, the general pricing is:

  • Camping Sites: Typically $20 per night for electric and water hookups.
  • Day Use Fee: A fee of $5 per vehicle for day use.
  • Group Shelters: Reservable group picnic shelters are available, with fees around $50.

It's important to note that specific pricing can sometimes vary slightly, so it’s always best to confirm when making reservations. While the COE generally doesn't offer "promotions" in the commercial sense, the low cost of camping and the inclusion of full hookups (electricity and water, often sewer) at most sites are significant benefits that effectively act as a continuous value proposition. Holders of certain federal passes, such as the America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Pass, may receive discounts on camping fees. Inquire about these at the time of booking.

For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing and to make reservations, it is highly recommended to visit Recreation.gov, the official booking platform for COE campgrounds, or contact the park office directly.

Very nice place to relax with family and friends. We did camping in tent however more people brought their RVs. Every lot has power 110v and 240v plus water supply, stone picnic table, bbq grill and fire pit with grill as well. All lots was clean, and ready for visitors. Nice playground for kids in the shadow of trees. Restroom and shower with hot (warm) water are also ok. Lake Eufala delivers beautiful views, enjoy swimming or fishing.

This is our second time staying in RV spot #14 @ Brooken Cove.. and I'm afraid this will be our last time staying here what happened to access to the lights being friendly to its campers with all the Rio Rap being put everywhere this is no longer Lake access friendly! Although it is $20 a night for electrical hookups it is a clean place it is quiet bathrooms are maintained but none of that really makes up for being able to put my kayak in the lake without having to walk a mile and a half down the way.

Very well laid out campground. Very peaceful. Only a short drive to the dam. You will need to pay attention to the driveway length and watch out for the power lines. Bring a y and plenty of water hose. Not very busy this weekend, first one after labor day.

We were looking all around for a place we could take our dogs, camp, and swim. Most places didn't allow your pets to swim. We found Brooken Cove on recreation.gov. we absolutely love it here! The facilities are close by, they offered campsites that are close by each other or far apart (which we chose). The site had shade, fire pit, fire ring, picnic table, and a beautiful view and access to the water just feet away! We couldn't have asked for better. The facilities were a bit dirty on the men's side the night we came but the next morning had been cleaned so they obviously take care of the facilities. I would definitely come back and I definitely would recommend Brooken Cove Recreation Area! By the way we stayed at site 55 and it was awesome! Any of the locations on the side from about 59 to 55 looked great!
