This location places Camp Independence amidst a landscape characterized by rolling mountains, lush forests, and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities.
While a specific street address isn't widely publicized beyond "Farmington, PA," its location within this scenic area implies a setting that is both immersive in nature and reasonably accessible. Farmington itself is connected by major state routes, making the journey to Camp Independence straightforward for visitors coming from various parts of Pennsylvania and beyond. Route 40, the historic National Road, runs through Farmington, providing a direct link to larger towns like Uniontown (to the west) and Cumberland, Maryland (to the east). This highway access simplifies travel for groups arriving by bus or individuals driving.
The region around Farmington is a hub for outdoor tourism. Camp Independence is likely within close proximity to a wealth of natural attractions and state parks that draw visitors from across Pennsylvania. These could include Ohiopyle State Park, famous for its whitewater rafting, natural waterslides, and extensive trail system (including the Great Allegheny Passage), and Fort Necessity National Battlefield, a significant historical site. This strategic positioning means that while Camp Independence offers a focused, dedicated environment for its programs, it also benefits from being part of a larger network of recreational and educational opportunities. The combination of a secluded, natural setting with convenient road access makes it an ideal location for an impactful and memorable outdoor experience.

However, the "offers" it provides are inherent to its mission and structure:
To learn about the specific costs associated with attending programs at Camp Independence, including any potential fee reductions or early registration benefits, interested individuals or scouting units should consult the official website of the local Boy Scouts of America council (likely the Laurel Highlands Council, given the location in Southwestern Pennsylvania) or contact them directly.
