As a quiet, locally-focused campground emphasizing the natural camping experience, Tall Oaks Campground typically focuses on providing value through its serene environment and unique sites rather than extensive commercial promotions or complex discount programs. While there isn't specific public information available about ongoing seasonal discounts, package deals, or loyalty programs, many independent campgrounds of this nature occasionally offer modest incentives or special rates for extended stays during off-peak seasons (e.g., spring or fall), or for group bookings.
Given the strong positive feedback regarding their "very friendly and accommodating" staff, it would be highly advisable for interested Pennsylvanians to contact Tall Oaks Campground directly to inquire about any current or upcoming offers. Speaking with the staff directly might reveal unadvertised specials for certain dates, military or senior discounts, or potential advantages for booking longer durations. They would also be the best source for information on any specific "flash sales" or last-minute availability that might come with a reduced rate. Since the primary appeal is the unique, spacious, and quiet camping experience, any offers would likely enhance the value of this already appealing natural retreat rather than being the main draw themselves.

Beautiful area. The sites are so different in each of their own ways. One is around trees, like you have your own forest. Another one is right by a windy stream. Each are super big in size. You get the experience of camping.
Me and my girlfriend have been tent camping here for the past year or so. We absolutely love it, such a quiet little gem off the main road up in Farmington. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will be coming here for years to come! 🏕️ 🪵 🔥
This campground is owned by an outfitter in downtown. FYI we had a great experience at the outfitter and their guides. We stayed here a week. The camp lodge/store was closed from the time we pulled in on Sunday to Friday. There are 3 showers for men and 3 for women, these are pay showers costing $.50 for 10 minutes. My suggestion is to run the hot water in the sinks for a few minutes before starting the shower. The toilet paper ran out on day two and I had asked to get some for 4DAYS! before it was restocked. I had even offered to put some in there but they said that it would be taken care of. The outhouses that are around the camp are unusable so they had put a few port-o-pottys around to cover for the lack of outhouses. The problem was they were almost full and very dirty inside. The outfitter promised us that they would be cleaned out on Thursday but that never happened either. The pool there is used primarily for breeding mosquitos and not so much for swimming. The camp was secluded and it was a nice piece of property the sites are well marked. They have firewood at he store and it was plentiful. Water was far and not well marked, the water that was at the pavilion was the color of iced tea.
Very cheap, quaint little cabins that have a bathroom, small kitchen with a porch outside. You also have a fire pit and two tables to sit at. If you need to use the shower it costs 50 cents and it's a community one. There are only 2 other cabins and one is for a big group, although tons of tent camping and very accessible to all of the sights throughout the Laurel highlands.
Clean and decent camping. Sites aren’t as far apart as you’d think. The camp store is very limited, stop for supplies on your way in. Not motorcycle friendly since the paths to the sites are rocky and muddy. They will deliver firewood which was a bug help (not cheap). Lots of porta potties.
