Visited my parents who were camping there. Very nice and secluded. Very peaceful and how one would expect to camp. The area on Lake Ouachita is wrapped around in a very large cove and has calm waters, but is plenty big enough for fishing and skiing. It's not a very long boat trip to get to either Mountain Harbor or Crystal Springs by water.
Jul 20, 2020 · Derek JohnsonI was thinking about all the fun times I had in Girl Scouts at Camp Storey growing up. I was thinking about it today since we moved to Hot Springs Village Saline County. I was sad to see it closed down 21 years ago at that! I’m 45 so I was 15 and under going to Camp. I quit GS my 10th grade year. I really wish my daughter could join but will be awhile because of covid. It was so nice to see the pics posted it bought back memories we never got to swim it was always too cold for some reason. But I remember sneaking rolls from dinner because we were always so hungry and and snacks were banned because of varmits. It was so nice 👍 fun times.
