Reservations are usually made through a national booking platform like Recreation.gov.

However, prospective campers can inquire about:

  • Reservation Availability: Checking for open sites, especially waterfront ones, during peak seasons.
  • Standard Camping Fees: Understanding the daily or nightly fees for different types of sites (e.g., electric vs. non-electric, waterfront vs. non-waterfront).
  • Interagency Passes: Whether any federal recreation passes (like the America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass) offer discounts on camping fees. These passes usually provide a 50% discount on standard amenity fees at federal campgrounds for the pass holder.
  • Long-Term Stay Options: While not explicitly stated as "promotions," some campgrounds may offer slightly reduced rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly discounts), which is worth inquiring about.

It is always recommended to visit Recreation.gov or call the park office directly to get the most accurate and up-to-date information on reservations, fees, and any policies relevant to your stay. The general store on-site may also have information on current local offerings or discounts.

The RV campsites were too close to each other. Also, get ready to hear Bubba's foul mouth because no one taught him manners. People shining their truck lights into our windows way past midnight. Nice warm shower. Restroom was okay but no soap. The place itself was beautiful. The people, Jerry. They're the worst.

Brady mountain was Amazing. I had the best time. Hiking swimming being under the stars and the moon was full. The campground was clean and all the sites had electric. Even the tent sites. The Army core of engineers has the best campgrounds. I can't wait to go back.
