We booked East Fork Campground this past fall weekend visit to ride the train in Cass. We had a fantastic experience at this campground! From the moment we arrived, Jonathan, the owner, warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was having firewood delivered directly to our campsite, which made our evenings by the fire even more enjoyable. The grounds were nicely maintained and quiet, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The soothing sound of the nearby river added to the serene atmosphere, making it easy to unwind. Durbin is a small town, but the warmth of the community truly stood out. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, which enhanced our stay even further. Breakfast at nearby Simply Sweet Cafe was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return!

We had the chance to stay at the East Fork Campground and Horse Hotel for Labor Day! What an incredible experience. New to the camping scene we stayed in the water front cabin. It’s perfect for anyone who hasn’t purchased a camper yet or wants to get away with no hassle. The campground is well maintained, the bath houses are very clean, and the sense of community is second to none. We enjoyed a fantastic potluck hosted by the campground owners on Saturday and enjoyed some great food with great people.

We do a lot of camping and this is the nicest campground we have ever stayed at. The sites still had grass even at the end of the season. They were clean and generously spaced. We tent camp but none of the RVs seemed to have issues pulling in or out. The managers were incredibly helpful and kind. It is very close to many of WV's best attractions and we loved the trains. It is nestled in a perfect valley and we could even see the milky way at night.
